Nice one Mewey!

Did you find it easy/quick to edit in iMovie? Thinking of getting a Mac as i'm sick of this PC and I believe you have the same camera as me.

Why does it slow down the soundtrack so much compared to the video? Sounds like a herd of cows awaiting milking :)

I used to use Movie Maker on Windows. It took hardly any time at all to adjust to iMovie and it feels a LOT better. It keeps your clips (loaded from the camera) in a separate view so you can drag the ones you want to your edit and adjust as required. It then highlights the clips you have used, so you can tell what is left over! Very neat. The usual drag 'n' drop of transitions and titles. Job done!

It feels a lot less fiddly than the ribbon-oriented view of Movie Maker.

Summary: I much prefer iMovie.

Not sure about the soundtrack: That's just the default behaviour when slowing a clip down 50%. Did not fiddle with it much.

Apologies surber if I missed any particular bits you were after. I was chatting away during most of the second half rather than concentrating on filming.

Trust your concentration is better when you are on the line!

I popped along to KnaphillvWestfield yesterday. The pitch looked very sticky but Westfield looked more organised at the back and dominated midfield. Both sides lacked real quality up top on the day but once Westfield took the lead they never looked in trouble.Knaphill certainly improved since i last saw them but not fit enough in my opinion.Biggest shame of the day however was at the end,our Woking sides are known for the social side yet at the end of the game all the Knaphill players and management bar one or two all scooted off home?whats that all about?

Beyond my wildest dreams. What a wonderful day at Stag Meadow. 800+ crowd, Scotty The Stag at his rampant best, smiles a-plenty and a cracking game of football which would not have been out of place at a higher level. 3 goals in 6 second half minutes did the trick though. Thank you everyone for making yesterday such a special day.

Not a CCL game but thought some may be of interest on here.

Surrey Elite League - Virginia Water 5-4 Abbey Rangers. ATT - about 60.

Great entertainment and as good a standard of football as I saw at the recent Warlingham v Lammas div 1 game.

Pitch excellent if a little holding.

VW started both halves well but Rangers finished strongly to get it back to 5-4.

Haven't been to The Timbers for about 12 years but still a well run and friendly club. Facilities and hospitality excellent!

Be nice one day to see VWFC back in the CCL. :feedback:

CCL Div 1

Hartley Wintney 4 v 0 Eversley

A tighter game than the scoreline would reflect for 75 minutes but it has to be said all the fight went out of the Boars for the first time this season and at the end it could have been an embarrassing scoreline.

Rewind to the start of the game and it was Eversley who shaded the opening twenty minutes. Baker should have put us ahead on 10 minutes with a free header from 6 yards but glanced it wide. At the other end Martin Williams headed straight at Shelley in the same position for Hartley. Both sides played narrow and, a Shelly tip over aside, that made most of the first half a game of attrition with neither troubling defenses. It was the home side who went in 1 up however with after Kleboe handled an Nathan Stamp cross. Ball to hand but with his hands by his ears we can have little complaint! Hamilton dispatched the penalty.

With Bradley Cann coming off in a forced substitution at half time Hartley started much the sharper and the more likely to score and increase their lead. The normally reliant Shelly gifted the home side their second though on the hour spilling into his own net. Eversley went to 3 at the back in an effort to but their 'wing backs' played far too high up the pitch leaving Eversley susceptible to the counter as Hartley shut up shop and scored two on the counter in the last 15 minutes. Eversley's most dangerous player on the day Matt Stamp hobbled off and with it our chances of getting back in to the game. It could have been worse but for some last defending from Cooper / Reeves, with the post helping and Shelly redeeming himself. The home side looked far fitter at the end and we will see next week at home to Knaphill if we can just blame it too much turkey! Hartley looked very strong and fully deserved the plaudits but I have to say not much class in the bar after with some of their players (not all) taking to the raised stage singing 'easy'.

We all went on stage as every home game someone is awared man of the match, but on this occasion the whole side was given the award. Thats the reason for being on stage. I was embarrased by the minority (2 I think) who chanted. Shout and scream and voice your celebration on the pitch and in the changing rooms, but my opinion is not in the bar.

Who said that? ;-) In this case, it was more that I didn't really want to use footage with my chatter all over it! Credit to TRS for managing to keep his mouth shut during the 90 minutes!

Who do you think will go up?

Guernsey (naturally), but how many CCL Div.1 clubs will be allowed to be promoted to CCL Premier ? We have touched on this subject via another thread saying will 2 or 3 clubs be promoted with the FA changes and clubs going caput !

If we assume our Premier champs will go up and nobody is relegated, then top 3 could be promoted (if grounds suitable) with only the bottom 2 Premier sides getting relegated?

How does that sound?

Got to Say Well done to Windsor who i think are the best team Egham have played for a lot of years! Enjoyed watching the game with 800+ in the Ground. If they play like that every week they should win the League

Thanks. I'm probably not much of a judge but my impression is that the side we are playing now might well be on a par with the team that Windsor & Eton had in the Top 8 of the Southern Premier last season before folding, so yes, if we carry on in the current vein of form, I guess we should win the league comfortably.

But, as my Granny used to say, there's many a slip between cup and lip, so there are no chickens being counted anywhere near Stag Meadow.

And I have been told that I am a pretty crap judge.... ;)

Good team I agree, same as the previous W&E team, well thats not surprising 'cos there a few of the 'old' team back playing for the 'new' team probably on the same budget as well...... so on that Windsor should win the league, if not, questions should be asked ! Those Windsor players are not playing for £20,30, 40.00 a week thats for sure.

By the way deserved winners yesterday. The crowd number surprised many a people yesterday I can assure you........but well done Windsor for their efforts, just proves what hard working personnel can achieve.

I'm sure the Ash boy's could find the mute button if you managed to post the rest of the game

Milf Hunter I can assure you that the Management had not shot off home straight after the game, we were discussing things in depth in the changing room and we were surprised our selves when we entered the club house and everybody had left.

Poor game yesterday, IMO. Fortunate winner for Westfield, definite hand ball to help him score. Both keepers had nothing to do all the game.

Good luck Westfield for the rest of the season.

Perhaps players are told what to say......tell you what, why don't I ask all the other players.....oops !!!

Why do Windsor hide behind the smoke screen, listen all that know local football are aware of Windsor's budget so can't see why they won't come clean, its okay we will still like you, Windsor are in the fortunate position to have such a budget so good luck to them, but telling us otherwise...........well !!!
