I didn't even know we were playing H&R ressies on Thursday!

I don't know the players we used so I can't say if it was our first choice XI or not but, seeing as we've used 37 players in first team games this season, no doubt most, if not all of the players were first teamers. Some have probably played for the reserves as well. That's how we work. You can't have 37 players in the first team squad every game.

Bear in mind our ressies and Hampton's ressies are at the same level and both are 6th in their divisions so there's no difference between the sides. I know ressies change from year to year but Hampton's are nothing to be scared of based on what I've seen in the last two seasons.

It's one of the few clubs I try to watch our ressies play away games at as they've got a decent bar and sell chips so worth a visit. Plus you can get a park up there at reserve team games - you've got no hope for first team games.

Ha ha I'm glad you mentioned when the 1st team play VP.........parking at Hampton is an absolute nighmare, their car park is a thumbnail. I seem to remember that they used the land opposite as a car park extension, not sure if they still do ?

I thought we were in different league this year.....

Also a massive thankyou for the game as I know like yourselves ( Camberley ) Our reserves dont have a game for 2 weeks so it was a good blow out for all ...

Good luck in the league and I think Barney is doing the right thing down there with the Big time charleys...

Merry Christmas.

We are this year which means no visit to Hampton for me.

As you probably know, H&R are Suburban Premier A, our ressies are Suburban Premier B. The difference is that 'A' has the reserves of teams who are mainly in the Conference plus a few at step 3, 'B' has a few step 3 teams but is mainly step 4 and 5.

You'd expect the A division to be a bit stronger based on the fact the players will be playing at a higher level if they get into the first team but that may not always be the case. Met Police for example have been one of the strongest Suburban sides recently but are in the B division. Uxbridge ressies are allegedly very good this season as well. Haven't seen them myself but they're top of our table.

Met police are a funny team... none of their ressies get a look in and are like a different side / club... Uxbnridge always strong but must say not a lot of difference in the leagues only some teams try and play ... others don't.
