I'm not taking anything away from what has been achieved at Ampthill Park this season but it is the way it has been done that I think has ruffled a few feathers such as Carl the Truth Williams. Also I think all true Ampthill Town supporters, who bleed yellow and blue, would prefer to see Stuart Reynolds at the Club and it seems strange that he preferred to go elsewhere this season (Cranfield United) knowing that a successful season was on the cards, he must have been told that Lea Coulter was coming to the Club yet still chose to go to Crawley Road.

The strikers we have at Ampthill this season are much better than Stuart Reynolds, no disrespect to him, because if he receives the ball at feet in the box he will probably score, but, we have pace this season, none of our players shy out of heading the ball, and all work for the team.This is why we are having a good season and all the supporters that I speak to are happy with the vast improvements,and I can't think of any fans that have stopped coming to games.

Former No.9 - That's not the impression I got when Craig Bicknell tried to explain away on here why Stuart Reynolds went to Cranfield United instead of Ampthill Town, I gather he left no stone unturned in trying to persuade Stuart to stay at Ampthill Park but failed miserably which doesn't say a lot for his powers of persuation, he should have read up on how Brian Clough signed Archie Gemmill for Derby from Preston North End in 1970.

My conclusion on this Carl the truth Williams fella is that he's not involved with Ampthill at all,he's just an idiot that is on a wind up.Originally i had suspicians as to who he was. I now think he has'nt got a clue about Ampthill. Most people that post on this board involved with Ampthill would probably know who i am , what age i am and when i played for the club.So here we go Carl, heres a challenge for ,if you know anything about me, when did i play for the club and just name one game that i played in?. By the way there is a way of finding out who you are by checking IP addresses ( my computer wizz kid friend can do it ) so be careful in the future of who you insult on this board.By the way, this is not a threat of violence or anything like that,before you go around bleating that you've been threatened. Maybe we could all sort this little bit of resentment that you seem to have with how the club is being run by simply having an adult chat about things. Why don't you introduce yourself at the Bedford home game on the 2nd Jan. Merry Christmas
