I miss playing boxing day and new years day. Used to get crowds of around 400 for local derbies, (one year we even had some bird streak....i say bird really she was a monster and she cornered our little winger Lee Cornish it was very funny) everyone particularly on boxing day well in this spirit and a good sesh after the game. Font think I was ever in a side that failed to win on those games.

Some really good games coming up. Most people would of thought Royston were going to run away with the league but now only 5 points seperates Dunstable Town, Royston and AFC Dunstable at the top of the table. Levvy are not to far away as well.

 

You'd like to think AFC should win at Biggy Utd and Dunstable Town win at home to Colney but The Crows trip to Berko will be tough for them. Looking like a very exciting few months coming for fans of footy in Royston and Dunstable.

 

Harefield United v Hillingdon Boro local derby also stands out for me.

 

There is potential to double up on matches (which i'm gutted about as I have stuff to do in the morning so if i do make it to a match it'll be a 3pm kick off) .....................Wodson v St Albans 1pm will finish about 2.45 then a dash to St Mags v Stotfold maybe or the easier Kings Langley v Division One Champs elect (surely they will win the league...Ampthill will be 8 points behind if they win their games in hand....still much football to be played though) at 12midday...then from 2 o'clock onto Berko v Royston or another match close by.

 

Anyone want a bet that Sun Postal v Kentish Town will finish 0-0....whats odd's would you get??? 20/1 25/1?? In the two team's 51 league games so far 247 goals have been scored ...that's nearly five per game... i'll predict 3-3

 

Talking of Div One....A serious question?? What has happened to Tok Manor?? They had a great start to the season but have fallen away of late... FORM READS - WDLDWLLDLLLWLL i'm obviously out of the loop...have they lost some of their players??

so come on whats your problem with me . is it because your lad is in the reserves ? or you wanted some one else to manage first team ? maybe you wanted the job . all i have done is come in brought 2 coaches 1 phisio . plenty of sponsers the biggest one being my self . some new players mixed with some old players . we are in 2 semi finals 1 q final . fa vase 4th round . 2nd in div 1 . our res side is alot stronger and me and steve roach work well . i have a meeting in jan about starting a under 18 side for next season in the floodlit league so we can bring some local youth up the ranks . we are getting more support every week . the club is more stable than it has ever been but you still have a problem . i have even offered to have a meeting with you but you did a no show . you are prob the only supporter of a club that is not happy when a club are moving on .
