It is with great sadness that we heard of the death of Tony Buss this morning who for many years was the manager at our near neighbours Hanworth Villa. Tony was a great football man and will be sadly missed at the 'Ranch'. Our club's sincere condolencies to all the Buss family at this very difficult time.

I have just seen people talking about this on my Facebook. I've met Tony a few times and welcomed people to Hanworth, a really good guy and I send my condolences to his family for the loss. It's never nice, but this time of year must be extra tough :(

RIP Tony!!

Absolutely gutted at this news.A good mate and playing colleague back in the mid / late 70's

Tony was a fine man and not a bad striker either. Please can someone PM me with the funeral arrangements once known. My condolences to his family & loved ones

I woke this morning to hear truly sad news, Tony you shall always be remembered throughout OUR football world.

You led the team from the Middlesex League into the Combined Counties Div 1, then the unthinkable happened and we gained promotion to the Prem, this the club will truly be indebted to you

I remember going away to Farnham in Div 1, we were told that the pitch was "to good for you bunch of donkeys" i know that you used that as your team talk prior to kick off, well we smashed them off the park 8-2, even the great Geoff Chappell was in awe of the mighty Hanworth Villa. For this i will say "thank you" from the bottom of my heart (this will stick in my memory forever)

Without you the club would not be competing at the level it is now

You have left behind a great family, a huge amount of friends, and i know that you will be sadly missed by a great number of people

I am truly saddened by what has happened today, Rest In Peace Tony

Love you from the bottom of my heart

Wayne

If ever there was a man - Then he was called TONY BUSS the best person, manager and the heartbeat of Hanworth Villa. I knew this guy personally and he was the B******s and he will be the HANWORTH VILLA legend.

I loved you forever and forever, but never did I think that it would end this way. I'm so glad we were that close that I told you that I loved you.

Be in peace mate. I loved you so much that missing you hurts. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
