I Have Actually met these Guys, they were standing in the Eastside and were buying programmes at half time while i was selling Grimsby Tickets

Dear Ian,

My name's Vladimir, I live in Amsterdam, but am originally from Bulgaria.

Last Saturday with a friend of mine we were in London and visited the AFCH-Aveley game. I have to say we were delighted with the whole experience we had (the fact that AFCH won also helped, good game!!). In general we like a lot the experience we get from lower league games, so far we've been to several games in League One and Two, and this was our first Ryman League game. But what we saw on Saturday is absolutely everything we like football for - the support the team gets from the community, the lads giving everything for the team, all the care people give to the team, all the care the club gives to their fans - the programme, the shop, printing the club's history and people buying it to support the club, the challenges you have to deliver the programme to everyone (my friend arrived shortly before the game and the programme was already sold out..
:)
) and in general - investing so much passion, time, energy and money to keep the club and the support there every week. The team playing on 31 Dec and 2 Jan... Unbelievable! Only a week ago my mate was at the Real M-Barcelona game, his boss gave him as a bonus a ticket to the vip-boxes, which costed (saw it with my own eyes) 1200 EUR... I will quote him "This game [AFCH-Aveley] gave me even more satisfaction!". We share the view that football must always be about people - the supporters and the players and only then you have a strong club and can give your everything for your team and fans respectively.

We also run a blog about football, called Tri korni (
), it is unfortunately only in Bulgarian. It is most often about making fun of the nonsense that Bulgarian football is, but we also write a lot about football culture, and what we believe football experience must be. Exactly what we saw at Hornchurch the other day. I made several videos and pictures and I am definitely going to write a post about Hornchurch before end of this week and everything we saw in the coming days.

We would also like to try to support you a bit, so I have a question - would it be possible to buy some advertising space in the programme for one of your forthcoming games? We understand that to your fans it might be very odd, but our aim would be to make Hornchurch, the experience around it and what we think it stands for a bit more visible and popular in Bulgaria. I hope we would be able to write a line or two to explain to them why we do it and to congratulate them on being so loyal and fantastic supporters. We enjoyed quite a bit the banter on the stand, for the second half we went to the terrace:))

I don't want to brag, but very recently we managed to get a player from Bulgarian fifth division to third place in an online poll for the Bulgarian footballer of the year award (here a quick link explaining the whole thing:
). We did that exactly because of our strong belief that people should understand that football starts at grassroots, and that there is so much more to football than overpaid primadonnas getting 100k pounds a week and selling t-shirts for 50-60-70 pound a piece... And the fact that a lot of people supported our small campaign shows that there are people out there who still care about football at this level.

If you would accept our very honest message of support on that page, would be absolutely brilliant! And of course, as part of this we would like to make our small financial contribution to your club. So, if you would agree to something like this, please let me know how much it would cost to do it.

By the way here is a link to our Facebook page, during the game we posted live pictures and updates:

We would be glad if you could add us to your mailing list for your press releases (if there is any special coverage for you game against Grimsby we'd love to make a feature for our blog). Thanks in advance!

And again many thanks for a fantastic Saturday evening of pure football experience!!

Oh, end we loved the chant to the tune of 'Hey, Jude':)))

UP THE MIGHTY URCHINS!!

Sincerelely

VLADIMIR

what amazes me is a post is put on here at around 23:00 and 9 1/2 hours later Mr Panel has responded. He must like it on here. : :):

Not really, it may be slightly less boring than ours, but its still nothing special.

I'm just surprised you frequent here as all the people you have spoken to tell you they are embarrassed by the antics that go on on here!
