Firstly a massive thanks to Bedfont Sports for their hospitality and the use of their facilities. The Ref and the assisstants also. Lost 4-1 to a good side although we played some nice neat football we had an old git up front ( THATS HIS WORDS NOT MINE ) so we were never really gonna trouble them ... only kidding. Enjoyed the game... the banter and I got to see little Newby..... Better looking than his father already.... beautiful little boy. Nice to meet up with some friends , Stuart, Gavin and Adam Bamford..... also met one of the army of non league volunteers in Paul at Bedfont and what a good bloke he is... puts a lot off effort in with numerous other guys to make it happen at BSFC .. We must never forget that without these guys at non league clubs there would not be so many non league clubs still running.

I won the Guernsey FC. ball in the raffle and it was quite funny when I asked Gav if he would like it... can't put his response on here tho.... I have given it to my youngest son who said he would keep it and auction it in 20 years time when they are in the premiership... Clever boy.

Well done to all that got the game on... VY... Bedfont and last but possibly first Smudge..

Yes, thanks to Bedfont Sports for their hospitality and for a great spread put on after the game. Thanks to Chris (YV) for organising as usual, thanks to the rain for stopping at kick off, thanks to Mewey for awarding a penalty and thanks to Smudge for making sure I didn't win the Chelsea car mat set in the raffle. I'm sure Brunty will treasure it always

Yep, totally concur with all the above, still a quality day. Didn't see Newby junior but good to catch up with Sean. Coombsy swerved me though !!! One other thank you though to two Bedfont Sports youngsters, Jack and Bradley who stepped in and made us 12, and Jack picked up MOM too. Newbys got the trophy for you Jack. Nice one chaps
