I hope that you can back this up. Some pretty libelous stuff here especially if the NLP article is accurate.

Just on a legal point - If it WAS bailiff's, there will be paperwork, and if they have removed anything that was NOT directly an asset of the club, then they are legally bound to return it.

Do not make a point of posting Mischievous stuff, when have the papers ever reported news, that you can believe,or is true.Think it was done for one reason and one reason only.So that the proper bailiffs had nothing to remove when Croydon Athletic Ltd went into Bankruptcy. Now that is something you could give us some inside info on.Do you not have to have a Court Order to remove goods from any Bankrupt business. They were in business Friday morning, and it was the Ryman League ,who decided that they could no longer continue in Football,so the Bailiffs must of got a Quick order, maybe a SUPER ORDER IN THE HIGH COURT.As for anyone Suing me,there is a saying 'YOU CANT GET BLOOD OUT OF A STONE'as Windsor and Eton's creditors found out.

Nice Guy,if an Electricity supplier and the F.A.are innocent hard working people, you are correct. But I do not think either are short of a few bob, without Electricity no Football Club can survive. As for the pitch it was immaculate 2 seasons ago,but this season with all the machinery that was on hire being removed,it was very substandard, and if you ever got off your backside, and went outside your front door you would of known this.Same Old, Same Old, Nice Guy.ALL BAR THE CAPS LOCK.MERRY CHRISTMAS.

So in general it doesn't matter who you 'knock' even if its the Electricity Company and the FA ? If everyone knocked the Electricity Company, there would be no electricity..............you should be Prime Minister........ha ha !

YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SMUDGEYBOY, SHOULD KNOW BY NOW THAT I AVOID CROYDON LIKE THE PLAGUE..........I dear boy certainly get out more than you believe, but its not to be a ball boy.......lol !!!

Smudge is right of course, as he was at Whyteleafe on Saturday coincidentally with a small party of "Croydon Athletic people" who unsurprisingly know more facts about what's going on than do the NLP. I don't normally buy the NLP but rather hope they haven't dressed up journalistic guesswork as facts.

Having said that, the Croydon Advertiser were left having to second guess what was going on a few weeks earlier because CAFC refused to talk to them. This resulted in the paper writing a doom & gloom "Athletic Face Ruin" piece which both :

(a) prompted the CAFC Chairman to have a pop at Ian Stratton, a perfectly innocent Advertiser photographer, and

(B) proved absolutely true.

Beleaguered Rams secretary, Karen Muir, told us on Saturday that the Majeed clan were stripping the ground – nothing to do with bailiffs.

And to correct an inaccuracy in the above thread, ownership of the club did not divert to Jenna Manji (Majeed's sister-in-law) when Majeed was sent down. She was always the owner - on paper at least. This itself should have set some alarm bells going in the Club if you ask me, but I understand that he's a persuasive character and it's easy to be sucked in when large amounts of money are flying around.

Croydon Athletic will undoubtedly cease to exist some time in the new year (I lost count of the tweets from people declaring solemnly that the club folded last Friday).

The big unanswered question is what will happen to the ground?

I've read tweets from tittle-tattling footballers that Warlingham should express an interest in the ground but I find it very hard to believe there is any way they could afford the upkeep and rent. So, will some other well-financed club come in and take it over or will Croydon Council find another use for it.
