Now we all no thats what most people only eat 1 time a year,TURKEYS,but all the Teams should all wake up an smell the coffee.You have been shafted big time in the Premier.The BANKRUPT Club that were Windsor and Eton are working the oracle on you,you were warned by yours truly before the season started,a Leopard rarely changes its spots,and Windsor F.C. are no different.Big signings in the last week,for a CLUB who could not pay their creditors stinks to high heaven.So how can we as a Footballl Community stop this happening,SIMPLES let Guildford City win all their remaining games.now we may not all be Guildford City lovers,but I tell you what it makes great sense to me.SO PLEASE get aboard the Smudge train and stop the Windsor surge,you know it makes sense..

Don't worry smudge apparently Windsor wont be promoted as there have no accounts from last season as they are new club. Had a few shady last nite.

Smudge for the record Windsor's budget hadn't increased it's no different from when dorking beat us, mole valley beat us etc. The club is living within it's means. The club has worked very hard to be commercially savvy. We have advertising boards all around the ground, great sponsors, our bar is booked out most weekends for private functions and our crowds are over 200 every week. We have come into the combined counties and embraced it. We have taken large followings to every away game, always been polite and spending money and we hope created a good atmosphere. At South Park last week we had a great laugh with their goalkeeper and it's players like him is what I enjoy about the combined counties league. At our home games we have welcomed everyone with open arms. The one thing that is not to like about this league is people like you who keep shouting crap about our club without any substance. Because if you had substance you may think about all the people at our club who have worked hard to rebuild it. The people that leaflet dropped in the town centre yesterday morning in the pouring rain and the people that have raised over £2000 in 2011 for local charities. We are definitely not a club taking other clubs for mugs or most importantly

not living beyond our means. Believe me we  do not want to happen to us again what happened before. We had a great win yesterday against an unfortunate raynes park team but this raynes park team also conceded seven last week. And as for thinking if you let Guildford win all of their remaining games do your maths mate. We're three points behind them with a far superior goal difference so if were to win all of our remaining games (which is as unlikely as all teams throwing their games) we'd actually win the league on goals difference if we outscoee Guildford.

I agre with the theory of what you are saying. Windsor should not have been allowed to start life at Step 5 and should have been step 6. BUT the FA put them in there so you can hardly hold that against them. IF they are paying beyond their means then as with other clubs that do it I will not shed a tear when it all comes crashing down again. Big IF though !!!

Smudge, if Guildford were to win every game [with or without help. LOL], then the first to congratulate them would be the supporters of Windsor as they will have proved themselves worthy champions.

 

As to your proposal, I think you should be very very careful what you say on a public forum as any involvement in alleged game-fixing could lead to a lengthy ban for anyone involved and we all know just how much you enjoy your official position as ball-boy at the Arena !

Geggy has hit the nail on the head. To attract a crowd of 239 for a home game on the last Saturday before Christmas is no mean feat. The Supporters Club do an amazing job raising the profile of the club locally. Our Club Mascot, Scotty The Stag, attended numerous fairs and fetes in the summer as well as raise money for local charities.

 

Hold on, I have just seen the light. The REAL reason why Smudge detests Windsor is because we have a good travelling support to away games. This results in increased programme, food and bar sales for the home team. No wonder he doesn't want Windsor to go up.

 

And I am sure that come the last game of the season, VPCTFC would be more than happy to have nothing riding on Camberley's home game with us.

 

And as Windsor Sec said as well, I will be one of the first to offer my congratulations to whover wins the Premier Division - whether it is Guildford City, Egham Town, Hanworth Villa or anyone else for that matter. Whoever wins it will have deserved it.

 

Finally Smudge, can we expect you to visit Stag Meadow when we play Croydon? You know that you will be more than welcome.
