MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED A WISH TO TRAVEL ON THE COACH BUT IT WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED WITH REGARDS TO AT LEAST THE FIRST COACH

I HOPE WE TAKE A SECOND COACH UP THERE

 

A NUMBER OF PEOPLE HAVE EXPRESSED AN INTEREST IN THE COACH BUT UNTIL THEY BUY A TICKET I AM AFRAID I CAN'T GUARANTEE A PLACE FOR THEM.

ONCE THE COACH IS FULL,I WILL START A LIST FOR COACH 2.

BUT I WILL NOT SELL TICKETS UNTIL I KNOW THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST TO FILL THE 2ND COACH BY ABOUT 80% SO YOU ARE TAKING A BIT OF A RISK IF YOU LEAVE IT,I AM NOT TOO SURE IF WE WILL HAVE ENOUGH NUMBERS FOR A SECOND COACH,IF THERE ARE ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT FOR A SECOND VEHICLE,THEN WE MAY BE ABLE TO GET A SMALLER VEHICLE BUT IT WON'T BE AS CHEAP AND A DISCOUNT FOR SA MEMBERS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE,IF WE GET A FULL COACH THEN THE DISCOUNT WILL BE APPLICABLE.

To be honest,I want us to take Two coaches up there but I am not so sure we will have enough to fill another 49 seater,there seems to be a very high number who want to go but won't commit just yet,which I can understand but if this coach fills up,which it will in the next few days then we will be left with a situation of taking names but not being able to commit to a coach until the numbers are high.Taking a loss on a second coach is simply not an option.I just ask that those interested in a coach who haven't already booked,to do so or to put themselves down on the coach 2 list ASAP once Coach 1 is Full.

I just think that every Hornchurch fan should see their club in a game like this and the prices are very fan friendly.

There is a large number of fans travelling by train,the prices quoted are around £35 from Kings Cross but I heard today that after Monday this price may double!!

Tut tut, you should have used Trans Pennine Express's website. They charge no booking fee or credit card fee. That's where I always get my train tickets from.

The Recorder want to put details of the coach in the paper for this week,it's a bit difficult when we have 3 spaces left for coach 1,I am in two minds whether to just go for the second coach and advertise it or to just take names and numbers for now with the understanding that if it is poorly supported it may not run unless the price goes up or someone sponsors it.

If you don't mind leaving on an early train you can actually do it for £26 return but that does mean catching the 0615 out of Kings Cross. You get to Cleethorpes at 0955 so you'd have plenty of time for a stroll along the prom and a few goes on the slotties in the arcades, onto Steels for Jumbo Haddock, Chips and Mushy Peas before a few pre-match jars. Then a leisurely stroll back to the train station and a few more jars before catching the 1836 from Cleethorpes arriving back in Kings Cross at 2230. Tickets for both of these trains are still available for £13.

 

My brother lives in Purley and works in Barking so I do this trip on a regular basis when I go down to see him, you couldn't do it cheaper by car so it makes a lot of sense. Also it seems to take as long to get from Doncaster to Cleethorpes than it does getting to Donny from Kings Cross.
