Where was our defence today?

We looked all wrong at the back. Slow, clumsy, no man-marking. Passing straight to the opposition. What the hell was going on?

For example (one of many), there were two forwards queueing up unmarked in the box to score the second goal when the ball was pulled back. And our fullback had allowed the player that made the pass to run about 15 yards and get his pass in without being tackled.

Their numbers 9 and 10 must have thought it was Christmas already, the amount of times we passed to them, and the amount of space they were given.

As for the man-of-the-match, so-called, all I saw him do was pass to the opposition and shoot wide twice.

Not happy.

A deplorable performance today - no width, hoofing it anywhere incl the keeper and mostly straight to their players - is there a problem in the coaching department ? As for man of the match - could not the sponsors have declared that there was no winner because there clearly wasn't ? Well there was in the shape of the opposition number 7 so maybe it should be changed to 'best player of the game'. Ridiculous offside decisions by both linesmen and yet another diminutive ref blowing up everytime Met police claimed anything. There are plenty who were there today who we won't see at the next game judging by some of the comments I heard.

Beaten by the better team today. Bad day at office. Our recent run of 6 games unbeaten had to end and I did not feel we were in with a chance second half when we were exposed by some quick and incisive passing. Met Police will be there at the final shake up if they can keep their team together. Best team I have seen bar Lowestoft this season.

Poor performance, disappointed......'tis the season to be jolly.....

Right had a good night with the family and have calmed down a tadge from yesterdays diabolical display. My thoughts on the game yesterday are not important and to slate the team would be wrong and ineffective, where did we go wrong well IMO we tried to fix something that wasnt broken - simples. CR should have stayed up front and TB should have been on the bench. Warren didnt impress at all and had the body language of someone that really couldnt be bothered. All of the lads looked tired and out of sorts throughout the game and there wasnt the urgency we have seen of late through the squad. The reason Im not calling for someones head is the team have just been hammered by a team that was better than them (I thought PLOD looked ordinary) their GK was dodgy but his kicks always went to their men, their passing was 100% better than ours and if Im honest we couldnt cope with their tactics (flood midfield) in the end lesson learnt and move on. rant over
