Wow !

 

Been away for a week but managed to just about keep up-and thought McBean made sense (more clubs than you can poke a stick at ) as seems a quality and sensible replacement for Kwesi assuming he departs in the next few weeks;but even so-still feel the real missing link is the lack of a quality central midfield player.

 

Now find MFC have signed craig Davies -who i know didly squat about-but am sure he is a quality signing.

Just seems we now have a lot of forwards-taylor, davies,burchell,appiah,bradbrook (add in robinson ) (one assumes Jackman won't be back ) but even so-a lot of forwards;when as above the real lack of numbers-and arguably quality is in central midfield.

 

Regardless-got to say-that it ceretainly shows ambition-and CK is certainly developing and constantly improving the squad

Just read that a few sites give Davies as a midfield player.

 

No idea whether he is a strong central midfield player-or one of those flimsy down the wing type 'wide players'.

 

iI simply hope he is the HOLY GRAIL of a commanding central midfield player-although his lack of appearances for most of the clubs he has been at imply that may not be the case.

 

Lets hope under CK he turns into the non league equivalent of steven gerrard

Just been looking up his multi-clubbed career and he sounds like a winger to me.

Burchell,Bodkin,taylor,davies then .

 

Is it a mite unbalanced-when surely we are crying out for a really good central midfield player.

 

Still one step at a time-coming together quite well overall -and quality seems to be gradually improving as well.

 

One assumes that Davies and Taylor offer more than Coleman and Grant !

Time will tell.

Showed promise when he came on today although it was as a forward. Looks a worthwhile acquisition although it may be as a squad player when everybody fit.

Took passes very well AND kept control of the ball, unlike others whose first touch was quite frankly dissappointing.Would have had more impact if introduced earlier.
