In today's Slough Observer, Byron Walton is quoted as saying 'it would be nice to get three points [at Northwood] going into the Slough game because we'll go into that as underdogs as we've surprised a lot of people this year'.

 

Just who is he trying to kid !

Yes,at the start of the season not many would have considered Beaconsfield for title contenders but you only have to see the calibre of player they've been signing of late to know they're certainly not going to be underdogs.

Given they are top of the league and beat Chalfont convincingly this week, I and many other fans would say they are the favourites to beat us on Boxing Day.

 

Just hope the weather holds,as this game should be a Christmas Cracker! and one the Rebels can win regardless of being favourites or underdogs. As long as the Slough players keep the belief......

I tend to agree with you on this one 3spirit, although it will be interesting to see how Beaconsfield fare once we are playing at

our own place back in Slough. Although I guess they could always get another club to groundshare.
