Guernsey made the BBC with their postponement:

Knaphill (Where the Reserves are playing tomorrow) is subject to a pitch inspection tomorrow. Report earlier today was, 'Both halves under water'. Not sure to what extent! How water-friendly does the Knapper's pitch tend to be?

It's not

Something to do with building a pitch very close to the Basingstoke canal. Its a shame because it is a nice surface. Still, not as bad as Henley Town's ground.

Eversley pitch drains very well, I'd be surprised if that one's off

Played there end of October mate, but obviously we still had decent weather. The pitches was uneven and grass kept long. I think it'll be the goal mouth to the left of the dugouts that would cause any problems if anything. Very short new turf there with swails and dips in and around it.

Fingers crossed for you guys

South Kilburn was my first choice but it appears that Eversley is the best bet in terms of surviving the weather. This being the case, is Blackwater the closest station to Eversley's ground and is there a taxi office close to the station.

Cheers,

George.

Just inspected the pitch and it will be fine for the game today (assuming weather isn't too horrendous this morning).

Nearest train station is Sandhurst (about 3miles away). I don't think there is a taxi rank there, but if you call yateley taxis on 01252 860662,there will be able to help you out.

Let mr know if you need further info.

Cheers,

George.
