Edwards out

...for the rest of the season according to the match preview which is now on the official website at www.billericaytownfc.co.uk

Yet another blow, I can't recall a season like it. If ever a team needed its supporters to turn out on EN-MASSE I reckon its this one. We are top the league afterall.

A new Chaiman's blog on site as well, a good read especially the last paragraph.

How strange.

Just read the Chairman's Blog. Spot on really.

I was having a chat with a Billericay Town supporter today about the lack of numbers at the games and how people were missing out on such a great club on their doorstep, When another chap joined in the conversation and to my dismay he asked if there was still a club in Billericay. Shocked we both said ya & were top of the league mate.

I'm shocked that local people are surprised there is a team in the town.

See you on the Island lad's & Lassies

More rotten luck. I wasn't sure about young Craig at first but he has got better and better and would be my player of the month for November. All the best Craig.

Chairman's blog is a good read and very true.

That is a big blow having Junior Edwards missing, but i really really hope this can bring the players/fans closer as the injuries stack up. We've had the terrible and sad news of our keeper, the disappointment of certain players walking away, aswell as bad injuries (Boot) and niggly injuries and now Edwards out for season.

I know i cant get to anywhere near the amount of games i used to but i for one can only emphasise the paragreaph below .

"The young fathers are missing out on a special father and son bond, standing on a cold terrace, right at pitch side, shouting your team on. Young girls are missing coming to the ground to get close to the footballers."

From experience those words are true.

Anyway , seeing as the boy has been ill this week i may just have a chance of getting there to add another crusty voice to the choir.

Come On Town !!!

"Were top of the tree at Christmas time,

but we cannot agree on moving those lines" :P

Or....

"We'll paint where we want,

We'll paint where we want,

We're Biller-ricay Town,

We'll paint where we want"

Keep the spirit going folks cos thats what its all about and have a bit of fun cos top of the league dont happen often to a footballer/fan every day of the week !
