DIVISION ONE

3-3 Ampthill Town v Hoddesdon Town

Was Ref Off Ref there out of interest, I assume not as he normally posts within an hour of the end of a home game if he goes

Horace - In what way are the circumstances different other than the pitch being playable this time although, as you know, in my opinion it was perfectly playable at the end of the 2009/2010 campaign. How was Hertford Town v Aylesbury United today by the way, it sounded like a good game.

For one thing, Tokyngton could not get access to the ground because the landlords had padlocked the legitimate tenants, Bedfont Green, out.

And I wouldn't know what the Hertford Town was like as I wasn't there. How did you get to Theobalds Lane on Thursday?

great game today we was 0.1 down at half time . come out the better side danny nicholls made it 1.1 . then went down 1.2 to a great goal . the coulter made it 2.2 . then we went 3.2 up held on for rest of game until they made it 3.3 in last seconds from a mistake from us . feels like a loss as they scored so late :(

Good job you don't do pitch inspections.

AFC Dunstable v Hanwell Town

We have no chance of getting anythink from this game a 2 0 defeat will be a great result for us wink.png

7-1 AFC Dunstable v Hanwell Town

As i said the other day we had no chance of getting anything from the game today. I hear it was 1 1 at halftime but like so many other times this season we had a shocking second half. Our results are getting worse again after they improved for a little bit but we are now halfway through the season and 2nd from bottom of the league. We have got rid of lots of players and brought in lots of new players and that hasnt worked so now the Manager and Assistant Manager have to do the right thing for the club and step down before its to late i know they are both nice guys but it aint working and we need a change before it is to late. This is the worst start to a season i can remember if the club wants to be playing in Division 1 next season carry on as we are but if the club wants us to stay up changes need to be made very soon.

Did Tik Tok run out of shillings for the player meter?

Er, the last time I looked the game was at Stony Stratford Town's ground, presumably it was a player injury

Er, last time I looked I hadn't suggested it wasn't at Stony dopeyballacks. You don't exactly catch on quick do you?

And you pre(ass)sumed wrong as usual. Doh!

On the game, Hanwell looked good for the first 15 minutes and scored to take the lead. After that it was the Kieran Jimmy (keeper) show as he pulled off save after save. It took AFC until half an hour to draw level. Two quick goals on 47 & 49 minutes killed the game for them and their heads went down. Would not like to think what the score might have been if not for Jimmy.

Keiran Jimmy is a very good keeper but he has missed a lot of games for us this season due to injury which has not helped us this season. Im sure if he had played more games for us this season we would not be 2nd from bottom of the league and if it wasnt for Keiran Jimmy we would have let in at least a 100 goals by now. Top Keeper!

DIVISION TWO

1-4 Hale Leys United v Bletchley Town

A report on this one from another's Forum:

Spartan South Midlands Div 2

Hale Leys United 1 Bletchley Town 4

Admission by programme £2 (apparently they issue for every game)

Att 12 (my h/c)

This game was played at Fairford Leys Pitch 2 - which is one of 4 full size pitches on the complex. There were games being played on pitches 3 and 4 as well. Hale Leys should be playing on Pitch 1 but the ground is not usable this season - but they plan to play on it from next season.

The pitch is roped, and there are dug-outs - but nothing else. Refreshments were served in the clubhouse

The visitors were only one place above Hale Leys but they soon established a 3 goal lead by half-time. The second half was more even, but Hale Leys never looked like getting back in it.

One of our esteemed moderators was also present, as Cheltenham had played last night, and provided good company
