Good start from Hx, after the goal and sending off, Farnborough got the bit between their teeth and controlled the game until half time. They couldn't keep that level of effort up for the rest of the game and Hx controlled the second half. Good team for for Martin, great Parker-esque chip from Lewis for the winner.

My imagination or was the pitch so much wider than ours? Whatever, the wide open, spaces and quality surface enabled our lads to show off their skills. No matter what we do to the pitch at the Bridge the river will always be trying to get back to its original course with obvious consequences.

Shame about the lack of home support and no badges in the shop either. Are Farnborough on a downward spiral?
