Absolute disgrace on behalf of Barnet council, they have known for over 10 years that Barnet need a new site and a new ground and have done nothing but sit on their backsides with their forefingers up their.......................................

 

There was a fantastic radio show on five live between 7-9pm emphasising the role of football and clubs in their local communities, Barnet Council are out of touch. Good luck to Barnet, but the future looks glum.

The club themselves have known about this for many years and at one time made strenuous efforts to get a new ground but then the story seemed to go cold. IMV they could have done more to ground share with Hendon at Claremont Road - the space was there for a larger club.

 

I would hate Barnet to go under before we have had another go at beating them 7-0 like the old club.

They would never go completely under. Worst case scenario would be that they go the same way as our goodselves have. So an opportnity to beat them at some stage again perhaps!
