Can the Met Police actually get promoted?

 

Currently they are in the play-off position and should they keep their form up, could see them promoted.

 

But can they go to Conference South with the travelling etc?

 

I am not entirely sure, so hence the question.....

looking in Wiki is shows that they used to play in the Southern League in the 70's. I think they have a decent sized squad and reserve team. Must get special leave to play. Also, strange that all the squad players listed are said to be born in England. Says something.

You don't have to be in the police force to play for Met Police these days.

 

Only problem for them is trying to bring their ground up to Conf South standard.
