Wood v Dorking (League Cup) is OFF tonight.

Pitch is flooded in parts and totally unplayable!

If I didn't know you better NG, I'd say that was a bit cynical !

Cynical indeed and a load of crap. You missed the rain up to 10am yesterday then?

All our squad is/was fit and raring to go tonight.

No injuries or suspensions......or illness!

Anyone know if Warlingham v Staines Lammas is on?

If it is, anyone fancy it? Looks a decent match up to me!!!

I am as bored as a bored person who needs a good boring!!!

I would assume a decision would be made before they have checked in at the airport.

I can't recall any local game being called off once a team had arrived in the island.

Just picked up on Twitter from the local newspaper, the Guernsey Press.

Guernsey FC's match against Spelthorne Sports on Saturday has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Footes Lane.

I think it's sensible to call the game off earlier, better than the players arriving at Gatwick at the crack of dawn only to find the game is off. At least they can now do other things like Christmas shopping.

I do not know but going from my experience in the local game a local referee would have been asked to look at the pitch. It must be pretty bad to be called off this earlier, we have had a Tom of rain, it was very heavy last night.
