Didnt seem interested in the game today not sure if it was because its his first game for the blues but his body launguage was wrong from the start and looked pleased when he was taken off

Am I wrong ?

Exactly what I thought orange coat... on both counts! Body language especially.

Reminded me of Danny Hockton in some ways. Scores goals, yes, maybe,if handed to him on a plate probably.

Workrate..nil & looked quite idle. On first seeing him I would say that's my 1st impression of him.

Maybe I'm doing him an injustice but you always try to impress on 1st showing i.e you don't get a second chance to make a good 1st impression.

Sorry on that debut I wasn''t impressed at all. Now go & prove me wrong Darren.

I agree with ALL the above. It looked that way to me too Coffin Ender. You only get one chance to make a good 1st impression & on that debut he didn't impress me whatsoever. Reminded me in some ways of Danny Hockton. Yes,can score goals but mostly if handed to him on a plate I reckon.Did show on a couple of occasions that he had some pace in him & some footwork skills but didn't get involved enough to show what he really CAN do.

Looked idle which is probably a little unfair on his 1st showing but thats what I saw & felt. His body work said it all, I agree with that entirely.

Prove us wrong Darren, prove us wrong! I'll give you a second chance to make a good 2nd impression

I was'nt there so can't really comment accurately-but i think we have seen pllenty of examples of players looking good in their first game-and end ending up very poor-and equally vice-versa.

First impressions are important-so what is reported on saturday is disappointing-but as CK said-he was carrtying a slight injury-and he may be the type of player who needs to 'practice' with his colleagues to get the best out of him.

That given-this is down to CK to get more and the best out of him.

CK has signed him-so CK needs to take the responsibility to get him to work hard and play well.

I am sure they are mutually capable-and i have a sneaky feeling that many will be exhoting his praises on tuesday night

Oh I'm sure we might, perhaps,Michael but on Saturday he was truly awful & thats what I for one am reporting on,his first game, injury or no injury.

To be honest he didn't look at all injured during the game until he actually got injured & left the field. If he wasn't fully fit then surely he shouldn't be out there.

I would like to see him looking more interested & looking hungrier for the ball. Both were missing from his time out there on Saturday & its not a good start on his part. They are good attributes to have to start with. You would have thought he'd be out there first time trying to impress everyone.

On a plus side, there was one instance when he ran at the defence & was disppossed, but that one instance showed he doe's possess pace and some skill on the ball so there IS something there.

Maybe next time out we'll see more from him.

Body language alone told me he wanted to be somewhere else..... not convinced with the "it did'nt go his way" attitude as on his debut he looked about as interested in playing football as the french are about washing.....
