What bad lea should have done is turn up with the 8 men, then after a few tackles take a couple off injured. Match abandoned, not enough players, but you only get fined for a short side, but you have fulfilled the fixture !

Thanks. Had a count up of the CCL games i've videoed this season. In 15 full games there has been 88 goals, which is an average of 5.87 per game - I don't think Alan Hansen would be impressed! Am I just lucky or is the average goal haul across the League similar?

definantly a fair result spelly v warlingham. it wasnt a cracker but two good goals! free kick from warls was top draw. up nxt for spelly guernsey away! im sure the boys will give a good account off themselves. wish i could come!

Yeah would agree with that Newby. Thought we were unlucky to go in 1-0 down at half time to be honest and also thought your right back was lucky to stay on after a couple of dodgy tackles in the first half.

 

Have to say you did defend well in the second half and unlike the first we didn't really create much.

 

Were you part of the singing in the changing room after?! What was all that about?! Shows what a big scalp we are when you hear the oppo celebrate like they won the league!!

On a brighter note, Dorking Ladies battled out a cup game at Meadowbank Sunday afternoon without 1st team goal keeper and two key players, to play a full 120 minutes, then a penalty shoot-out, and even with a 1.30 kick off, we needed lights for the end of the game.

 

2-2 Full time

3-3 After Extra-Time..

 

WON 5-4 on penalties, with an inexperienced keeper, and our worthy opponents, Rusthall's goal-keeper ex Chelsea Ladies.

 

It was a long cold afternoon, but probably the best match I've seen so far at 'The Bank' this season.

Lol thats our team song sung after every win im a big voice in changing room an beating last seasons champions twice is a sign weve improved massively our changing room is one weve got a great bunch with great banter mate!

Agree my understudy on another day could of walked with another ref im nurturing him though the tackles are his trademark

Was a battle mostly a bit of football but could of been better to watch must say youd make a quality sweeper though was one handled outside box ? Thought you had a good game mate now get involved in the charity game lol

Yeah it sounds like the banter is pretty good. Something that is important and will see you through to the end. That's what we had last year and thats the main reason why we won it.

 

Thanks I do like to try and play the sweeper role as it makes it easier to defend against. No the one in the first half did hit my chest and then the one in the second half after that dodgy back pass from my centre back to your no.10 hit me square in the nose!

 

As I said I would love to be involved but I can't make the Sunday which is a shame as it would be good to meet everyone. I'll see if I can but I don't want to put my name down and then pull out at the last minute.

First tackle by the RB was worthy of a strong word which was the same for WP LB 5 mins later as well as WP 4 and BS 5 later on in the game.

 

BS RB did get booked later for the 2nd tackle mentioned though. Was never a handball by the GK the assistant was 5 yds away looking straight at it...!

 

Was a good game to officiate from two good teams.

That's fair play to come out and explain decisions, something which I wish the ref in the premier league would do! Thought you (and your assistants) had a good game and hope your device on your boot kept up with all the running you did!
