I notice that our landlords have just signed Nevin Saroya and Bradley quamina.

 

Byron Walton definitely has a squad capable of winning the title and I think boxing day will be massive for us

Does anyone know where they have got this seeming vast influx of cash from? The players they have will not be on peanuts!

 

Although they have a very good side, I still think as a whole we have a stronger squad.

 

Looking at the remaining games in 2011, I think we need to pick up 8 points at least but 10 points is not beyond us, I would take a draw tomorrow but we should win, followed by wins against Bedworth and Fleet, and a point against SYCOB!!!

 

Whilst mentioning Fleet, has anyone noticed that Lee Riddell is now at Holyport?

Good point Tom, although the money from us didn't really help them with their on field performances in the 2 seasons previous to this one!

Apologies RR, I wasn't very clear there, I also want and expect 3 points but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world as Chalfont doing well at the moment, although their home form isn't as good as their away form! I would expect us to win all 4 remaining games in 2011 but 8 or 10 points would stand us in good stead!

I rate Ben Abbey, seems to have a really good attitude on the pitch and I'd be interested to find out what his chances to goals rate is!!!

 

Who knows WR, maybe the new exciting striker will make his debut? ;-)

Oh that will be sad if Danny is out til next year hope he recovers quickly.

 

I also think Ben has a good attitude on the pitch along with one of Aidan's favourite players Alex Brown. The one thing I feel we have always lacked is a bit of vocal on the pitch and I think Alex is excellent at this.

That Nevin Saroya is a bit of a handful and will be a proper nuisance/agitator when Slough play SYCOB,I expect.

He was a pain in the [****!!****],a few seasons back for Yeading or was it Grays [i think?] when Slough played against them and caused a lot of bother.He's one of those players who doesn't mind the rough stuff,and with him and Fiston Manuella in the Beaconsfield team, Slough's going to have to front up especially in midfield when we play them.

I played against Saroya when he was coming through the ranks at Brentford and was only 15, I was 21, he was kicking lumps out the senior pro's even back then! He's not just a biter though, great skill and technique on the ball for a centre half!
