Chennells is looking for a move away from Brackley so wouldn't be a loan deal. Windsor must have plenty of cash, they have pretty much formed the squad that gained them promotion from the South & West.

The Inland Revenue need to start asking questions in my opinion, so the club owed hundreds of thousands of pounds, couldn't afford to pay their bills, they fold, form a new club and end up with a team that could arguably win the Evo Stik Premier Division! Windsor's players won't be playing for free either, complete farce if you ask me!

Well done for rectifying and accepting your latest error.

 

If Chennels is willing to content himself with pub football then let him. Burnell and Sonner are the best partnership in the league, IF he were to sign he’d only be warming the bench for them.

I tend to concur with cookham rebel's view....its scandalous that Windsor could fold writing off a huge six figure debt then assemble pretty much the same squad. Two leagues down for a couple of years seems a good trade for getting rid of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Hopefully this won't happen but we could possibly be in the same division next season... It's not right, especially with all the crap we had to put up with between the Thornes Era and the now stable Easterbrook Era!

 

If a person was made bankrupt and all of a sudden had a load of money to splash about, they'd be done for fraud if caught!

Look, I do not wish to create another situation that results in you leaving the forum in another tantrum only to come back in a few weeks when results are going well. I’m better than that..

 

But... let’s enjoy where we are in the league and the exciting prospect of a new ground. Let’s not waste our time whining about lowly Windsor, a team beneath us. And try to stop speculating about players who have yet to sign for the club, or red cards that never happened. Just enjoy what is turning out to be a very good season by recent standards and get behind the players we have to make sure we get out of this division.

 

Let Windsor wallow in whatever muck they choose to - they will eventually get found out.

Fortuna's post is clearly offensive, as well as being unnecessary and pointless. Can it be deleted please?

 

Banter, passion and annoyance are all fine by me, but this sort of post is unnacceptable as far as I am concerned, and I request that it is deleted.

would be a great signing potentially if this is who was being hinted at last week but Windsor prob are faves to get him unless he saw us as the team really going places. maybe Dave Woozley (1 of the only players that hasnt gone back to Windsor) could help him choose us.

 

Also, maybe Paul Coyne could be a deciding factor, they were more or less psychic with eachother, Coyne set up the majority of Chennels goals at Windsor and I'm led to believe that they are good friends!

I'm not even going to rise to it.... Only one way to prevent these abusive posts and that's by ignoring them, Fortuna will soon get bored when he realises that no one wants him on here!

Cookham, if you click on settings in the top panel then in the left hand menu you will find "Ignore Preferences" you can then list all the other users whose posts you wish to ignore. But then if you do that to everyone who is bored or irritated by you wouldn't it just be easier to hold the conversations in your head?

Martin, my post to Stuntman Mark was said in jest, it wasn't meant to offend anyone!

 

Please lighten up, I'm hardly having a go at anyone or anything to do with the Club!

 

If my posts cause that much offence then people should say, I'm hardly abusive!

 

If people are going to keep going back to my rant in pre-season for which I apologised then I am perplexed, thats in the past and I've been proved wrong, ever since then I haven't posted anything that is detrimental to anyone associated with Slough Town Football Club! Ok, I moaned after the FA Trophy defeat but I wasn't the only one!
