Someone's not happy

Recommended Posts

A few club people are unhappy, but all the clubs voted for Guernsey FC so its a bit late now to complain! Some clubs like Rangers are leading examples of how to embrace GFC. They are offering free entry into their matches to GFC season ticket holders. They also help GFC in other areas too.

I know Mr. Skuse very well.....

'Grapes' and 'Sour' spring to mind.

I LOVE GUERNSEY threads, they believe it or not keep the viewing figures up.Think some of the issues may well be resolved,by the forming of a New steering group, involving the Guernsey F.A. and Guernsey F.C.The Guernsey F.A. did after all give Guernsey F.C. its blessing,on joining the Pyramid, then shot itself in the foot by saying Guernsey F.C. Players would not then be available to play in what Islanders have looked on as their Cup Final for years, the Muratti Cup.They jumped the gun in my opinion,as Guernsey F.C will have promotion gauranteed by early February, allowing them to Play Fringe players in the C.C.L.Freeing their key Players up for the Muratti Cup.

The point about not being able to play in the "Cup Final" the Muratti for us Donkeys and Carupauds is that its an FA rule that a player has to play in a county game if he wants to represent that county. So the rule for Guernsey means that a player must play at least one game in the Priaulx or in the FA Cup to be eligible to play in the Muratti. This clarificaiton came out after the initial press coverage. As far as I know its only 'keeper Chris Tardif that has not so far this season not played for his club side.

The Muratti as far as the FA are concerend is just another County game.
