Saturday 10th December (Fixtures and Results)

Recommended Posts

Freekick to Hertford, 4mins in to second half, Lee Roberts shot tipped round post.

Corner swung in to near post, Draper heads in! 2-1 Hertford Town

Chance on 60 mins. Draper on the penalty spot. Seemingly only the keeper to beat. Shoots over.

GOAL. Hatfield 1 Hertford 3. 62 mins. Dealers redeems himself by turning provider. Crosses and the consensus is that Bangura scored.

Marvin has just killed one of their players. All hell has broken loose

64 mins and a tackle goes in on the far side of the pitch and lots of handbags appear. Ref seems to be taking a long time to control things.

Two red cards so far. Have not got binoculars so cannot tell who yet.

15 minutes since the tackle and still no restart. Player still down and ambulance has arrived. Unclear about reds, nobody has left pitch yet

First red seems to have been for Marvin Samuel, presumably for the tackle. Hatfield red is for one of the Hatfield bench.

Play has restarted after a 20 minute break. Hope the Hatfield player is ok.

Goal. Hatfield 1 Hertford 4. No idea how long has gone now. And no idea who scored, lights are terrible here.

Goal was scored by James Mays who had just come on as sub for Hadi.

Goal. Hatfield 2 Hertford 4. Hopefully not too long to go. I'm cold!!

Full time. Hatfield 2 Hertford 4. Come on the Blues.

GOAL AFC Dunstable 1 Royston Town 0

GOAL AFC Dunstable 1 Royston Town 1. Kaan Fehmi gets his head on a free kick.

GOAL AFC Dunstable 2 Royston Town 1.

Latest Welwyn Garden City 0 Kings Langley 3

61 mins: GOAL! 1-0 Stotfold. Peverall drifted inside after a throw and fired home a well placed shot

GOAL Chesham United Reserves 1-2 Cockfosters - Sam Barker

Latest Hoddesdon Town Reserves 2 Oxhey Jets Reserves 1

Latest Hoddesdon Town Reserves 3 Oxhey Jets Reserves 1

GOAL Holmer Green 1 Dunstable Town 4

GOAL Holmer Green 1 Dunstable Town 5 - Brennan 73m

GOAL Holmer Green 2 Dunstable Town 5 - Penalty 77m

GOAL Holmer Green 3 Dunstable Town 5 - 85m

90 mins: GOAL! Aylesbury United 1 Stotfold 1 - Confidently dispatched penalty into the corner by Jones after Dimitrov pushed over in the box

FT. 1-1 draw. Point rescued at the very end; Second best for most of the second half so we'll take that!

Saturday 10th December

2-1 Bedford v Stony Stratford Town

Good performance from Stony probably warranted a draw and would maybe have got it if they hadnt lost their keeper after 35 min with score 0-0

Good reaction from match officials and Bedford players after keepers injury while play was stopped for 20min and a big thanks to Bedford committee members for their hospitality, help and concern

Sounds like as drips injury, what did he sustain maye and hope he'll be back soon?

Knocked out cold by a kick to the jaw and swallowed his tongue, the blood made it look worse than it was

Thankfully one of players reacted quickly so no serious damage done though he was a good hour recovering and is still a bit groggy but should be ok for next week

Sorry to hear mate but good to hear its not as serious as first thought and good to hear he could be back next week.

And my original post, not exactly the Queens English.....????

Not nice when you see your own take a bad knock and you feel so helpless too, got the T-shirt on that one.

My lad has been given the all clear to resume in the New Year, long, long 11 months that's been, think he'll just be glad to be back albeit if it's the Ressies.....anyway catch up soon, again glad No.29 is ok

Ref Off Ref - It wouldn't surprise me to see him in the side, or certainly the squad, for the Bedford game on 2 January

0-3 Hanwell Town v Hillingdon Borough :(

We were the better team up until they scored their first goal which was a soft goal to give away and to be honest all 3 of their goals were soft goals. We need to find a striker who can put the ball in the back of the net or we will defo go down. Most of our players are just not good enough and i cant see where our next 3 points are going to come from.

Bit disrespectful to our fine team Karren, we are 3rd in the league, turned over all the top 5 teams (and Hanwell 6-nil B) ), also put six past a couple of other teams, and are in a rich vein of form. Maybe what you mean is that we have no budget, came up from div 1 as runners up, and nobody considered us a top 3 team?

Any grovelling apology will be accepted, take your time, in the next hour will be fine! :)

Think you owe Karen an apology! Look carefully at who actually said it was a shock result - your friend Rhodes.
