St Neots 1 Ashford 1. Great result for us.

 

Also playing is Daventry v Beaconsfield but I have not found any updates for that yet.

in fairness although its good that St Neots have again slipped up there are plenty of other sides who can push us all the way. any slip up by any contender will be welcomed with open arms by us though especially if we keep picking up wins even when not playing great

 

hopefully Beaconsfield didnt win either

Beaconsfield won 3-1 at Daventry. Still not a bad night for us though, as I don't believe St Neots are due to play on Saturday because of Uxbridge's FA Trophy game.

Just how do Beaconsfield manage it? Bottom one year, then out of the blue they become serious title-challangers!

the next 3 games (if weather allows them to go ahead) must be the 3 biggest games within a league season that we have had in ages. wont make or break our season maybe but we could stake a huge claim for the title if they go well or if it doesnt we could be smashed back down to earth

Ashford gave us a decent game a few weeks back but it was mostly us switching off that nearly cost what should have been a comfortable win.

 

still a long way to go but the next 3 games are MASSIVE for us
