GOAL: Royston Town 1 St Margaretsbury 1 - Matt Standen finishes off a fine team move to level the scores.

GOAL: Royston Town 2 St Margaretsbury 1 - Matt Standen beats the offside trap to put the Crows ahead with six mins to go.

 

GOAL 83': Bor 0 LEV 1. Max Farrelly hits a free kick, the keeper spills it and Adam Hallissey buries the rebound!

FT: Boreham Wood 0 Leverstock Green 1. Amazing - Wood battered us all half but we win it!

We should stick to the important facts and not be side tracked....so PTG, how did you get home from Lowfields, what number bus did you catch, what colour was it, what seat did you sit in, what was the drivers name, how many inches did you have to walk to the train station, how many carriages did the train use, how many stations did it stop at, what time did you get in, have you got in, did you buy a glossy coloured programme, what did you drink at half time.....sorry Rhodes just thought I'd save you some time

My missus, her friggin beard tickles me so I can never get a good nights kip, and her punters who willingly pay her the £50 an hour going rate would probably say the same.

Anyway why didn't I go to Lancing on Saturday, well if you cared to roam all the postings as you normally do somewhere you will find the reason I put down for not going prior to the game.

DIVISION ONE

6-4 Kings Langley v Sun Postal Sports

 

Two defensively inept teams made for a comical scoreline in this drab (yes, I know there were 10 goals!) game, but I guess the 3 points were the main thing for Kings Langley.

 

Sun Postal raced into a shock 2-0 lead inside 10 minutes, but they had no answer to the game's only sustained period of quality from Langley who quickly scored 5 goals to make the score 5-2, before the visitors capitalised on more woeful defending to make it 5-3 at the break.

 

The second half was pretty dire as the temperature dropped, the home side added a 6th to their tally and should have had more had they not tried to walk the ball into the net time and time again after talismanic striker James Armstrong had been withdrawn.

 

Against a better side they would surely have been punished for their embarrassing inability to put the ball in the net again, and they were duly pegged back once more as Sun scored late on to make it 6-4.

 

I haven't seen London Colney yet, but from what I saw of Ampthill earlier in the season, Kings Langley look miles off them if they are/were supposed to be one of the promotion contenders.

Well PTG Rhodes will want to know how many left turns you made, how many red lights added to your journey, whether you were a front seat or rear seat passenger, what type of car it was, make, model, colour and engine size, whether diesel or petrol and what CD was playing at the time, you know the rules

Yes but if I had taken offence to every wrong decision gone against my club (one occurring in a cup final against Selby many moons ago) I would be very bitter and twisted, you just have to accept them and move on - something it seems Rhodes is incapable of doing so ............... hence the comment pathetic.

KB....we all in football have our up's and downs, imagine the downs that the poor clubs who've had Rhodes on board have had to deal with.

KB Selby another quality side now gone Pirton were another. I think I once listed on here about a divisions worth of sides now gone many of whom were top prem sides......just had a thought wasn't Bobby Moore involved at your club way back when?
