Horace - What has George Graham's financial misdemeanours, as you put it, got to do with him being a better Manager than Arsene Wenger and arguably the best Arsenal Manager in their 125 year history

This arose because I was questioning whether George Graham would be welcome at The Emirates yesterday. That was because I think he is a cheating scumbag, not because I think him a lesser manager than Mr Wenger. And surely Herbert Chapman should be included in any list of great Arsenal managers?

Horace - Well why wouldn't Graham be welcome at The Emirates, if he was Fred West or The Yorkshire Ripper he would still be welcome after what he did for the Club and particularly that historic, never to be forgotten, night at Anfield.

Karen - That's just where you are wrong, my Father went to most of Arsenal's home games when Herbert Chapman was Chairman, he often sat me on his knee and told me everything about him

He was shown the door for misappropriating club funds. I wouldn't have allowed him inside the Emirates - a bit like Aki won't allow you inside Coles Park! (not that I'm saying you misappropriated club funds you understand - added after consulting my lawyer).

George Graham was unfortunate though in being the only Top Manager to be found guilty & banned from football for his misdemeanours.

There are at least 2 former London club Managers who in the 90's 'had it off' with a few bungs & got away with it & the allegation was also aimed at the late great Brian Clough.

Then there is the current Manager who's team got beaten by Stoke yesterday ! ; - )

But getting back on topic, have Harefield appointed anyone yet ?

Don't know the name, but he had a great start at the weekend. Good luck to him & The Hares.

I wonder if Samuel Smiles still gets over there ?

According to this week's SSML Noticeboard - Ian Crane has been appointed manager of Harefield United

Caretaker Karen

My apologies but the SSML Noticeboard we all received didn't state that.
