Guernsey 6 Cobham 1

The ramparts at Fortress Footes Lane may well have taken a hit but this was very much the Green Lions day with probably their best home display of the season.

The game had an explosive start with Kieron Mahon, on 3 minutes, smashing a beauty in from around the 18 yard box. Cobham, to their credit equalised with a goal by Pat Kirby which completely bamboozled Tardif in the Guernsey goal. The game developed into a really exciting tussle between two teams who both fancied their chances, but it was the GreenLlons who took the lead with Matt Loaring scoring in the 29th minute. The Cobham keeper, Robbie Whittaker, was having an absolute blinder of a match and he continually thwarted the Guernsey attack with save after save,

HT: Guernsey 2 Cobham 1

Another explosive start to the second half of the game when Ross Allen took on the whole of the Cobham team on an amazing run from the halfway line and slotted the third goal in past the advancing keeper. The hammer blow was just too much for Cobham to sustane and after relentless pressure by the Guernsey team, Gus Mackay was upended in the penalty box and Ross Allen duly obliged with the penalty to make it 4-1. The home team continued to push forward with attack after attack and Ross completed his hat-trick, making the score 5-1 in the 77th minute.A further goal by Matt Loaring in the 87th minute made the final score 6-1.

Final score: Guernsey 6 Cobham 1

Man of the match - Robbie Whittaker (Cobham) absolutely outstanding performance.

Farnham I felt werent as bad as the score line suggested horley played like a team with ten men should they soaked up great amounts of pressure and hit us on the counter quickly and effectively, they defended like its was everything to them getting players in way of the ball, thought towards the end we ran out of ideas, horley deserved the points, thought the red card was the write punishment horley players I think will agree no arguments from them.

Warlingham 2-3 Westfield

We started awfully first half hour and like Staines game Tuesday deservedly went a goal down. Probably our worst half of the season.

Second we started brighter and had a goal chalked off for offside which I’m informed from our supporters in line with the goal was a poor decision. Warlingham went straight up the other end to go 2-0 up. To be fair we carried on playing well as we had down all half and with half an hour to go got back into it when Hegarty smashed from a free kick. We sensed Warlingham starting to panic and were all over them. Equaliser finally arrive 15 from time via the spot and although they did come back at us in a little flurry we got a deserved winner 2 min from time when Shane Cheeseman dinked over the keeper. Full credit to Warlingham staff and players who praised our lads at at the end

I hear Chertsey lost 3 0

Who do i sound like????

we were the better team!. They had 3 chances the whole match and scored all 3. We had 7 or 8 good chances but took none. Didnt get the rub of the green today but the team is still very young and we have a few additions of experienced players in the next week or so. I am confident the first win is around the corner.

Who do you sound like JJ ? mmnnn change your profile name to 'The new chertseytown' !

Great footage TRS maybe watching the footage is not such a good idea DT have you got a match on tuesday is that why you are not training, without being a rocket scientists when you are at the bottom of the league your players need to be super fit because you have to battle harder than your opponenent(I sound like Fatima Whitbread ) your players don't look fit time and again your back 4 was skinned by Croydon and you were lucky they only scored 2,what is your stategy for corners your goalkeeper is quite small and your defenders don.t attack the ball

Well, plenty went on against Badshot Lea yesterday. Decided to sleep before posting otherwise the would have been too many words censored out.

This so-called "Respect" campaign is simply not working. The sooner the FA realise that it is not just "Respect" towards the match officials that counts but also towards players and spectators. Windsor always take a good number of supporters to away games and more often than not there is excellent banter with opposing players. Yesterday, the Badshot Lea well and truly crossed that line. If I am stood near the halfway line and I clearly hear said goalkeeper aiming the "c" word at Windsor supporters then so must a lot more people. Also, offering to "see" one of our supporters after the game was also said. You could say that justice was served when he horribly miskicked on the edge of the area to allow us to score a third.

If that wasn't bad enough, in the last 5 minutes, their #2 was also to be clearly heard calling one of our subs who came on a "C". I can't honestly remember whether this was before or after he cynically lunged at him with both feet off the ground. As I said earlier, I had a good night's sleep!

The referee was a complete joke. Not once did I observe him talking to the players while play was going on. The only time he did was when he stopped play for an infringement. 90% of refereeing is about communication.

As for the game itself, we could and should have been 4 or 5 up at half time. BL were a lot more purposeful after the break but 3-2 was not a fair reflection on the game overall.

your not a mamby pamby bunch by any chance, its easy to come on here and slate off an opponenent but that is your side of events be interesting to get a Baggy lea view,In The Know was it as bad as what the Windsor fan has reported or was it as i suspect a two way street.
