4-2 Leatherhead now.

And that was full time.

Very good second half display from Chicks, after Leatherhead dominated the first half. Having said that, Leatherhead had so many chances in that second half and I don't think i've seen so many sitters missed in one half of football! Good crowd as well, must have been around 150.

Was discussing my first Dorking game with thespursfan at HT, which was Plymouth in the FA Cup (I was the bandwagon jumper!) thinking it was 20 years ago. On checking it was in fact November 1992, so just the 19 years then.

By the way i've just dropped Smudge at Dorking Station, so he'll be along after midnight to tell you all what's what ;)

Horley town 0 hanworth villa 0.

a good game of football I thought for a nil nil.

both teams trying to play football.

horley created more 1st half and should of scored a couple and villa slightly shaded the 2nd half.

All 3 officials did well tonight.

good luck villa for the rest of the season and in the vase saturday.

South park 2-1 kingstonian

Absolutely fantastic performance tonight again Ryan prem outfit who had 9 first team players start with 2 coming on as subs but park just worked together as a team and got the result we deserved park went 1 up with good defending by milesy who played line ball to BAWA to play first time ball into Kieron lavery which his through ball found c. Smith who slotted in from edge of area. Parks lead didn't last long as K's replied within 5 and was 1-1 at half time.

The winner came in the 89 minute from a molly11 corner which was scrambling in the box before smith again put it to bed from 6 yards.

Great performance now fa vase on sat come on SPFC!!

Deserved win for Staines tonight, they didn't really create much second half but battered us first half. We were perhaps unlucky in the end but overall can have few complaints.

Gary James spat in my face tonight and for that reason I hope Staines get nothing from this season. Ref apparently missed it and then sent off Baxter for adopting an aggressive attitude. Think it was a bit harsh but he can't really moan as he was telling everyone (including the ref who thought it was fine) he was going to take a yellow for 'smashing the 14'.

I hear that the Staines manager ordered James to apologise but he decided against it. Let's hope karma doesn't take long to do its thing...

RIGHT.

Yes - Dorking went down 2-4 at the end. I am so really proud of DFC, playing a team at least 2 divisions above us. Rymans Prem. I think they'll really struggle now after dumping young Mick S. out in the cold.

On the other side. Who was there to watch >

In no particular order..............

BJR (Natch)

Teffers.

El Gaff.

TRS

TSF..................

What can I say ? The Creme De La Creme of the CCL.

Apparantly Kroons, got sidelined in a Macc................................

The glitterati were definitely out in force at the bank tonight,Teflon,B.J.R.,El Gaffer, the spursfan,Buckers,Hurdy(can that man moan)my good friend T.R.S.,love him more than I LOVE GUERNSEY,Such a gentleman, nothing is a problem for him.And of course yours truly. The winner on the night was Non League Football,Dorking are a together team and played their part in a very entertaining evening, against a very strong Leatherhead side. Some quality football was played by both sides,in front of a decent crowd.Nice to see a clubhouse thriving for a change, but Brandon stock up on the Carlsberg next time,as believe it or not,I have arrived home sober. The highlight for me was B.J.R.'s comment, when that super marksman Tommy Hutchings, blasted a free kick,20 yds,yes 20 yds over the Dorking bar, into the trees behind the goal.ANOTHER NEW BALL we will have to buy.El Gaffer has promised to post a pic of him in his full REFS REGALIA,he was however moaning about the cost of the Kit £179,when asked how much the cards cost,I was amazed at his reply of £1.50p,I REMARKED,they will earn Surrey F.A 1000,s of £'s in no time at all.

Westfield 1-2 Staines Lammas

We started awfully- Staines battered us for the first 20 and in that spell went a goal up but could have been at least 3. We made a few changes and scored just before the break to bring the game level.

Second half we were excellent and were the better side – however we failed to take any of our chances and Lammas with their quality up front were always going to create something and scored a well worked goal 10 min from time. Nice feisty game with a card happy ref, lots of meaty challenges. Sums the guy up who spat that he hasnt got the b@llocks to come and even say say sorry

Bit gutted as the winner tonight has every chance of going to the final with two very winnable ties.

Think we all turned up expecting a youth/reserve side from Kingstonian and I think I speak for all the SP players when I say we were absolutely shattered after 30 mins! Fitness was certainly taking its toll with the K's spraying the ball around well, as expected. We did create chances and got a neat first goal through C.Smith. As a defender, disappointed with the equaliser, but second half, I would have to say, I thought we were the better side, at least for the first 25 mins anyway, as it was our turn to keep hold of the ball, but just couldnt capitalise in front of goal, with Kingstonian's rearguard proving very strong. We lost Guscott to a knee injury which initially looked nasty but should be ok and our left back Matt Ward with a nasty ankle injury, causing him to be stretchered off, so I wish them both a speedy recovery. Winner came in the last minute, much to all of our delight, considering we were all preparing for 30 minute bashing in extra time. Great performance from SP and was topped off with the left back confirming how many first team players they had out tonight, saying that was a side they would put out for a league game.

Must say I am over the moon im of work today - absolutely shattered! On to the Vase on Saturday!

Carshalton Athletic 5 -1 RPV

RPV battled well especially in the second half but ultimately Carshalton had a bit too much about them.

I have to say that Carshalton's hospitality was second to none. I am not just referring to the pie and chips after the match (although this was very nice) but they work very hard to ensure that officials are greeted, have a coffee/tea, check that dressing room is locked/unlocked as appropriate and that match fee is paid at the appropriate time.

A good evening all round and RPV performed well despite the scoreline

I was the Westfield 14.... Just stopped quaking in my boots!

Front two for Staines very good and mobile and a great delivery from Redrup for the winner. Thought we did well especially with three centre midfielders making up a back three and two more playing up top.

Staines much better than when we beat them in the league, lots more fire in their belly especially first half when on top. Rubbish banter from the front two but Steve Wilmore is always good for that.

Elsewhere in the Surrey Saturday Premier Cup: Ash United 2 Horley Town 0.

and....Wood Reserves 1-2 Dorking Wanderers (Suburban Prem B v Sussex Div 2)

Wood took the lead following an error on 4 minutes. Game ebbed and flowed, Wanderers levelled on a breakaway on about 65 minutes and got the winner in the 92nd minute. Very enjoyable game; we were worth extra time at least but failed to take our chances.

hes commenting on a comment not a game....

horley nil.

its the rectangular bit with string behind it at each end of the pitch.

the round thing that gets put in the middle of the pitch has to go in there.

if you dont do that you cant win.

hope that helps for the next training session

Fair summing up of the game.

Think RPV would have faired better with some of the more established first teamers in.

Considering Carshalton had Tom Davis in the middle of the park they weren't exactly a poor side.

Their left back (no2) got a goal and seemed a decent player if a bit lightweight - think he was oonly about 17.
