Rhodes's to my mind gets to much grief, does he really deserve it?

 

I am fairly new to this forum and maybe I'm just a bit of a softy, but this forum would be far more boring without him. I do actually remember one day I viewed the forum and agreed with something he had written, so common guys give the man a break.

 

Consequently I would like to put the club I support, AFC Dunstable, forward as a "I love Rhodes" hate free zone, and would request that ONLY POSITIVE comments in regards to Rhodes are put on this blog over the next 48 hours.

 

The deal for you lot who do not like Rhodes is that after 48 hours you can have your say.

 

Like the guy who cannot pronounce his "C's" "S's" "F's" and "T's", you can't say fairer than that!

Here is the thing you see. You believe Rhodes is winding you up, so why then do you bite? To me that's what makes Rhodes so good at what he does, he chucks the fish hook out and all the usual suspects come for a nibble - the man is a genius!

It was an hour and ten minutes actually, not bad considering. I'd have thought 30 minutes would have been an optimistic target!

There you go Rhodes, not telling you what to do but if you settled up the 20 squid charity money, maybe people's opinions will turn and comments like "Rhodes is a legend" will become the norm. Go for it Rhodes!

Nuts, what about him actually having something proper, constructive and informed to say? Seriously, if there was no biting what would he have to offer. I will also qualify why people bite, if they don't he then later will use people's silence as an admittance of guilt in trying to back up his mud slinging later on down the line. As some or many know on here he was involved in a very unsavoury incident when I was playing in a game against Kentish involving the "wonderful" Lee Scott so in my opinion he is not alright or harmless

Again I'm new to this forum and yes I'm learning all the time, but maybe you have Rhodes all wrong you guys and he deserves a second chance. Firstly thereis nothing wrong with trawling club websites, that's what they are there for, and you never know he may have a part time job cleaning lavotories. Give the man a chance to repent , you may see a different side and even start hanging out with him.

Rhodes has just been in touch. He tells me he has plenty of fans and admirers on this forum, and it is the usual suspects (Horace, RefonRef and Winslow Boy) who have it in for him because he sticks to the facts and regularly out banters you. At this point I prefer to stay neutral and allow you boys to fight your own battles, so may the best man/men win.
