Who can afford artificial pitches in Non League ?

Schools used to get them with grants, but that has now dried up !

EXACTLY !

Think people are blinkered to say all the money these pitches will generate....true, but you've got to be able to afford it first which is very, very expensive ! It would take years to claim back the money paid out, but if non-league clubs can afford it, players don't mind doing slide tackles on it (ie) goal line clearance, possibly twist ankles and knees then go for it.

I personally think it will take the spills and thrills that go with grass in every condition the weather brings us !

I thought I heard one CCL club were going to have them in a season or two,

Bumstead are planning this with the multi million pound redevelopment

Banstead are planning 3 pitches or did I hear that wrong?

Lets not forget Cove who are meant to be getting a plastic (all weather) pitch as well.
