Opinons

Recommended Posts

This site is an open forum for opinions. My opinion might be different from other peoples but I respect others opinions.

Nobody is going to see games the same way. I'm bound to have a bias towards the team I support, just like Arsene Wenger never "sees" the incidents when his players do bad tackles or get sent off. Thats how football is.

Despite all this I try to give an honest view of what I see on my Twitter feed and on my match reports. If you don't agree with me post your view without slagging me off for my opinion.

Much love to all forum users and Smudge !

Rant over !

Do you not realise that you are only allowed an opinion if it the same as certain posters on here, and even then they have to ask their mums or wives to make sure it is their opinion in the first place.

Opinions! Rubs hands in delight!

Groundshares are intrinsically wrong

There is a right way of developing a club and a wrong way

South park are right. Mole valley are wrong

Guernsey FC is an interesting development. We've got Swansea Cardiff Merthyr Tydfil etc. but not Celtic rangers

If guernsey FC why not Gibraltar FC? Or the Falklands

Bennet and page gone up the leagues each year how far can they go by changing clubs ( no problem with that)

How far can zico etc get staying with guernsey FC?

Where is the next merger?

Ok the latter are questions seeking opinions

Please

What is wrong with Mole Valley groundsharing? We are doing our best to get our own ground just takes time man. We had our own ground we were developing at River Lane but we were stitched up as I'm sure you know.

I think it's good that the club, that put in so much hard work in the first place to get where they are, managed to find somewhere to stay so it wasn't all for nothing till we can find our own new home back in Sutton.

Who are you involved with *spurs fan? I am probably wrong so I'm about to make myself look stupider than I usually do but I think ur a Dorking lad? I believe u are making a few quid from renting out your ground? Is that developing your club the right way?

Just opinions ;) xx

What about my view on the CCL Premier Play-off Cup.............!!!!!

And you're welcome to your 'opinon' NG, but that doesn't mean we can't tell you it's [censored] ;)

thespursfan has a bee in his bonnet re groundsharing and I expect duncs will be along shortly to back him up. Can't see the problem with it myself, certainly AFC Wimbledon wouldn't exist if groundsharing was outlawed.

Spursfan,

Iv not been at club long enough so I don't know the ins and outs so I dnt want to say and get wrong info.

However, your right, it's not an ideal situation, but we are trying to remedy it and relocate.

Re results showing all, the club was groundsharing and won CoCo div1 and finished 8th in prem last year. This year the club lost alot of players for a variety of reasons, some for money at other clubs, some for personal reasons but were doing our best to remedy it.

As for you not agreeing with Dorking renting ground to Bookham, perhaps your club would be struggling financially without this arrangement? If so you owe your clubs survival to groundsharing? I'm sure your club would love to have a reserve team if they could to bring your youngsters through, so if not doing this there must be a reason. Got to look deeper mate :)

Blaming all this on you Donkey :)

I agree with Spurs Fan I am afraid but it is the rules I dislike not any of the clubs who happily play within them. I think it is Smudge that said sometime back that groundsharing will never stop as it becomes a restraint of trade if you stop clubs using the biggest commodity they have to bring money in so for the forseeable future I will just have to live with it all :)

Groundsharing seems to work quite nicely in Italy and with some big clubs to boot. If a purpose built ground was built and shared by 2 clubs then what is so wrong with that? We played Epsom & Ewell at the weekend and they have been effectively homeless for 17 years which is a dreadful state of affairs. But I know talking to their Chairman on Saturday that they are doing what they can to move back. If a groundshare keeps a football club alive rather than disappear altogether then that has to be a good thing.
