Capital League Cup This Week

We host Chertsey Town on Wednesday evening, kick off 19:45 at QE II stadium, in our first President's Cup quarter final.

 

The winners will face Wealdstone in the semi final.

 

No doubt EU will be around later with some early team news.

Team will be made up largely of the U18s and very similar to last weeks squad that faced Chelmsford City ressies, with a chance of maybe one or two recovering first team squad players who may need 45mins/60mins to assist with their recuperation.

 

Now that Chelmsford City ruined my proud unbeaten home record (only second to Mourinho's Chelsea) I've still one record and that's I've never managed a reserve team at home which has lost in white. My only two defeats were home to Hornchurch last Oct (in all yellow) and last week v Chelmsford City which was a close call with us having to wear the yellow/red hoops with our blue shorts and socks as the oppo turned up in white.

 

Chertsey Town are under new management so we may face a stiffer test than forst expected.
