Stripes a problem?

Ever thought that striped shirts might be a problem. Can't think of many successful teams that have white and red, white and blue. Barca and Inter have stripe but they blend better without the white. Also sponsors names are harder to define on white striped shirts. Just a thought.

Both Milan clubs don't have the white stripes. Mian red and black, Inter blue/black. Admittedly there will be the odd one but the majority are without white stripes in the modern era. Just an observation, not wanting to try to win an argument.

We have played well at home this season, good wins against wealdstone, tooting & kingstonian and were the better side against bury & Canvey but we have lacked the fluidity at times we seem to have away from home.I really do think that although the pitch is the best it has been for some time it's still not as easy to play on as others. It's almost as if there's too much grass on it,not in length but overall mass, someone said the other day it appears spongy,I would agree, you don't always get a perfect roll on it and I wonder if the players know this and at times it affects their game.I think once we get a lead in a game at home it then disappears from their minds and the fluidity comes back but last Tuesday at home, first half, players like hunt were putting stray passes all over the who which he just doesn't normally do on a true pitch. As soon as we got the equaliser Tuesday we looked more confident and hunt was our best player 2nd half.
