Coiin was mentioning that he would love to be drawn away to Luton should we progress in the Trophy as they have the largest attendances. Does anyone know which club has the largest capacity in non league. Is it Wrexham?

St Helens town, they are moving in with St Helens Rugby league team and I believe the capacity is around 18'500 which is bigger than Wrexham and Darlington

Wrexham was around 18'000 when I last went there but I would think the capacity is down to under 14'000 now

Darlington - 25,000 all seated is the current largest non league ground.

The largest ground was Corinthian Casuals, when they played at the old Crystal Palace which had a capacity of over 100,000

Darlingtons ground has indeed got 25,000 seats, but because of restricted access roads the capacity has now been cut to 10,000. Wrexham have the largest legal capacity.

Rob - are you sure about St Helens FC ? They play at Ashton Town's ground.

As for the rugby club, they are moving to a new ground next season.

Wrexham's capacity is 15.500

Re- Darlington - dpn't nelieve all you read on wiki - the capacity is 25,000 and their record gate is 15,000

Part of the negotiation in St helens RFL side getting a ground was the local football side being able to play there.I believe the chairman is highly connected to the council and they want to create a side to rival Wigan athletics achievement.Bert Trautman played for St Helens Town.

The rugby club I believe move in next season ,which I think starts in January. The football club have either moved in already (the ground IS ready) or are moving in at the same time.
