AFC Dunstable v Dunstable Town - Your Predictions

Recommended Posts

Back home after mixing it with the dignitaries today. :D

Great win for AFC as they seemed to want it more than DTFC. Superb crowd of 565 but was tainted by alot of cheap skates who did not want to pay a paltry £3 to enter and somehow got in for free. These people need to realise that it is the life blood for both clubs and the gate receipts showed this. They take both clubs free membership cards and repay the clubs this way.

A big thankyou to all who did pay.

Petethe greek - out of interest, what was your view on the penalty incident in the last seconds. Strange one this, our player thought DTFC keeper did not touch him but in return the keeper felt he did.

I thought it was just a coming together of players.

It was the far side to my penalty area so difficult one to judge.

What convinced me that it probably wasn't a penalty was the position of the Referee. He was very close to the incident and immediately turned down the appeals for the penalty.

Rhodes - When, if ever, were you associated with a Club that had an attendance of over 550?

I only asked when was the last time you Officiated in front of an attendance of over 550, there was no hidden agenda to the question, you must have been over the moon to be allocated the Dunstable derby on Saturday when the allocations for November were published

And I answered your question.

Any chance of you answering mine?

I hope the REAL team in Dunstable thrash the cocky upstarts. My prediction is The Real DTFC 4-The Horrble Upstarts 2. AFC will never replace The Blues. How's your charter to the FA going? Fancy charging kids £100 odd quid a season to play for you with the promise of a new kit that never materialises? And making kids pay for floodlit training sessions that are never floodlit. You must be so proud. W*****s.

I see everyone has allowed the Bunny Boiler to get away with her ridiculous, bitter and unfounded comments. Fortunately the "Horrble(?) AFC Upstarts" did their talking on the pitch so apart from saying "Thank the Lord" we don't allow Horrble bucked toothed mingers to be supporting our wonderful best in town football team, then just eat hummble pie my lovely.

PS: We have AFC scarfs available at a special discounted price should you be interested, but just don't show up thru the turnstiles :D

Must say Latchford you had more confidence than me in the scoreline.

The club was just hoping to get something from the game but a win is fantastic.

Hopefully we will now be taken seriously.

Very well done to Alex, Dermot and Justin

Well, as you well know, I've only ever been associated with Haringey Borough, Kentish Town and Tokyngton Manor in the past
