Because we always knew we are the better side :D

If it wasn't for bad tempered Twyman in their goal the defeat would have greater IMO.

We were much faster than them to ball most of time and the only time they really looked dangerous was the last few minutes when they had to chuck everything at us!

Still it was good to see they brought most of their fans with them (about 50) ;)

One thing I will say though it was played in a good spirit both players and fans alike, so well done everybody for that.

and i remain very envious that Ramsgate have again progressed further in the league cup.

good luck to them in that

Are you capable of enjoying anything, Michael? You seem like the kind of guy who - having woken up to find a beautiful woman demanding to have sex with you - would instead be worrying if you had paid the gas bill.

Also good to see that over on the OFFICIAL Ramsgate forum we are being called cheats over the attendance.

I thought there were about 100 more there last night than on Saturday, even with all the extra 'freebies' of reserve and youth players, so the announced attendance was slightly more than my guesstimate.

Talk about bitter, twisted and clearly envious!

I see DICKinson (Bazza) really has his gander up over this and as you say Steve he probally thinks we should have added in the U11's who were there last night + the ressies and other youth team officials.

Noticed there were quite a few people wearing Kent FA blazzers last night (do they count).

Anyway on a more positive note it was nice of Greggs father to admit in the bar that it should have been Red and not a yellow card. He also told Greggs this. As for Luke's yellow I agree with his mummy (he still is so very young) that yellow was harsh and maybe a telling off would have done.

Its just sour grapes by them Jim. As you say lots of freebies including the Kent FA, only had to see in Directors Lounge last night to see how packed out it was (All Free).

So Bazza if you are reading this get over it and act sporting like some of your other fans (Colin, Mick etc).

Not only can "Bazza" not count he cant spell either. Someone needs to tell him that as a "Family Orientated" club we let our youth/reserve and family members etc in for free, if he feels that we diddled them out of their much needed monies then Im sure we could have a whip - round..... Ive got a euro to start the ball rolling :). On a lighter note I agree with Pagey that the majority of their fans were ok and a good game that we were bar far the BETTER team and deservedly won....... LOL :)

Thought Ramsgate played the ball around well. They certainly equalled us if not bettered us in that department though having said that our lads tried very hard to play it on the ground last night which was encouraging & it also brought out an improvement in their overall performance too I thought.

Ramsgate just lack a goal scorer from what I saw last night & though I know their main front men were out, on the night that was what they were lacking.

Our defence was very good & kept them at arms length apart from that ball that hit the post & another super save with his legs from Overland. Duanne really shone & stood out last night & that was good to see.

The game wasn't a classic but it was still worth watching & credit to both sides.
