Have to agree with ftfc...what could have been a decent game tonight was totally ruined by yet another referee who was clueless!! Some of the decisions were ..well to be honest baffling and that was for both sides!! Cracking goal from O'Toole for Windsor though!

Always seems to be the case when the assessor is present.

Not sour grapes because it's the same for both sides but Jeez the pitch was more bobbly than my 12yo plays on at the local Rec. Very difficult to play decent football as the players just couldn't get it under control.

I never slag off refs on here but he was by far the worst ref i have ever seen!! The assessor was there but i wonder what, if anything will happen to him. So arrogant it was impossible to talk to him with being booked!

agree with bbm there were fans at the end and during the game souting '' ref wake up and ref cmon' and he was biting back at the fans and telling players his performance was better than theres , have seen this ref twice in action and both times he has dished out atleast 8 yellows and 1 red on both occasions, does not let the game flow and arrogant beyond belief

saying all that i thought windsor were poor may have had an off day and ref didnt help but first half were really poor

Badshot lea 1-1 south park

Missed chance cost park 3 points first half played good football defensively solid as lea didn't really look like scoring Chris smith with good finish put park 1-0 up.

Second half all park but chance after chance missed and at this level you have to take your chance to win games. Badshot lea goal was pure luck as a block tackle off badshot player from edge of box found its way in.

Great game last night at the Memorial Ground saw Farnham draw with 'highflying' Windsor. Jack Dillon opened the scoring for Farnham after 70 seconds and A Toole replied for Windsor from a free-kick that should never have been awarded. Windsor failed to cope with a hard working Farnham side and the surface, you cannot play 'pretty football' on that!!!

I never slag off ref's on here - WELL I DO!!

The referee was...................Unbelievable!!!!

Before you all jump on the referee's bandwagon you had to be there to believe some of the decsions that he made and his attitude to all players, managers, coaches and fans! I have never seen or heard anything like it!!! There is no way he should referee at this level. Sod all this, no ref's, no game crap! All the time and effort that is put in by both clubs and teams to then be officiated by like that is getting more and more frustrating! Eventually you have to ask yourself, is it really worth it???

According to Windsor he refereed them v Molesey and was exactly the same! Both games he was being assesed! It would be interesting to have an opinion of the assessor, this will never happen though because it's a closed door club! If he is assessed and then performs the same next time out you have to wonder if its worth paying these assessors as they don't seem to be doing their jobs very well!?!?!

Whoever is on this forum from the League has to sort this out! The standard of referees is getting worse and worse and is controlled from the governing body. Stop blaming the players and look at the reason why we have issues, get out and take off your rose tinted glasses and see whats happening week in week out in games sanctioned by you!!! People pay to watch football and end up watching the referee's! No wonder attendances in the league are down, people are fed up talking about officials!!! You only have to read this forum on a Saturday night, most post's mention the performance of referee's! The league have to sort this out quickly!!!!!!

If both teams were as unhappy as hinted above in the posts in this thread, I hope they will both also be submitting reports.

Regarding referee performance, remember that if a referee ends up in the bottom band of assessment marks AND the bottom band of club marks, they WILL be demoted. They will also be demoted if they are in the bottom band of assessment marks for two seasons in a row.

Once again cannot comment on the above game as I was not there and will accept what has been said about that particular referee.

Feel I do have to comment on your rant though Ace. Are attendances really going down because of referees ? I can mention an occasional poster on here who does not go to some games because of the clubs that are playing and the attitudes that they and their players bring.

Most moans about referees are done through hugely rose tinted glasses. Camberley had a player sent off at Windsor. Talk to anyone from Camberley and it wasnt a red and talk to anyone from Windsor and it was a red. So people come on here and have a pop because it didnt go their way.

Also to say stop blaming players is a bit rich too. Most posts from the officials sides on here accept that there are referees that are not up to it but EVERYONE has to take their shame of blame. Why did I give up Ace ? I watched Camberley on Saturday and our stirker missed an easy chance. And I mean easy yet he came very close to being cautioned for dissent for complaining about a number of decisions that he felt the match officials got wrong. Perhaps he should concentrate on being 100% perfect himself first before having a pop at others. Incidentally of the 3 decisions he moaned about I would say the officials got 1 wrong.

Perhaps the league could issue a league table of referees club marks. We know the lowest performing refs at Step 4 are relegated to Step 5 and perhaps it would open some eyes to the marks clubs give to referees. The interesting thing is that the worst performing referees on thePremier Division get relegated. Do the worst perfroming clubs in the league get relegated ?

As we often do time is spent blaming each other but if it really that bad then we actually need to all work together to sort any problems out. I only watch football now and would love nothing more than everyone to get on and serve up a feast of football for me to watch. the games i have seen this year at CCL are littered with mistakes. From players, coaches and referees. That is the level I watch and I actually expect the mistakes to be there and they probably make the game more enjoyable to watch.

Just to finish back on last Saturday. A player knocked a ball out of play for a throw. I was 2 yards away yet the coach who was the other side of the pitch decided he had a better view and shouted at the referee to moan how the hell he could give a throw to the other side for that. Is that acceptable ?

Bumped in to El Gaffer at our game last night and he informed me he's passed his refs exams so look out for him on a pitch near you soon! Good to see someone from within the game going down that route and I hope he does well.

On the subject of refs we had a penalty awarded against us last night at Banstead which was probably the craziest penalty decision I have seen in 20 years of senior football. The ref was big enough afterwards to admit he got it wrong and luckily enough from our point of view it didn't affect the result but I can assure you if it had done I will have had a different attitude towards it this morning and I would probably be falling out with Kroons at this very moment!
