If anyone has no plans for this Monday night Ash are playing Crystal Palace in the 2nd Round of the Surrey Senior Cup, kick-off 7.30pm at Shawfields Stadium.

This will the 2nd season on the trot we have play Palace & will be really hoping for the same result as last when we fought back from a goal down to beat them 2-1.

Huge good luck to Ash!! We met an Ash player on the train Saturday when we were on the way to the Warlingham game and he was still full of his visit to Guernsey and wished us a win. We are therefore right behind them in this game!! That's what I love about the NL game.

Yep correct................Ash United 4 Crystal Palace 1

took the lead just on halftime but then Palace levelled midway into the 2nd half. Then soon after a nasty injury (looks like a broken jaw & concussion & Everyone at Ash wish him a speedy recovery) to Crystal Palace centre back saw them have to reshuffle, which Ash took full advantage & soon went back in front. Then in the finally 5 minutes we scored 2 well struck goal to see us into the next round & a home tie against Woking

Well done to Ash United, whatever team Palace put out I am sure they expected to win the match.

It was Palace's academy side, but like we were told last season, at the season if they don't come upto scratch that's their football career over at that level & they have to start again.

scorers where Jimmy Norman, Karl Dallaway, Adam Beale, Phil Hornbrook the last two scorers it was their first for the club

listen i wasnt trying to put it down of course its a massive win im not a [****!!****] its called curiosity............

Agree and understand Newbs. I have some contacts at Crystal Palace so AUpostie, if you can give me the Crystal Palace team, I will check for you Newbs. I would have thought it was the Youth/Academy team or a mix, it certainly wasn't the 1st team.............ha ha !

obviously a descent win but is that a reserve side or youth side from palace!?

Doesn't matter Newby - if the Donkey can keep reminding us that GFC only narrowly lost to a League 2 side then Aupostie can rightly brag that they beat a top Championship team <_<

Well Said Green Fingers,

A decent result regardless well done Ash Utd, Academy or not 4-1 brilliant good luck for the rest of the compo.
