Town play their first home Capital League game at the QEII stadium on Wednesday evening, 23 November.

 

Chelmsford City are the visitors in a 19:45 kick off. Please note this fixture replaces the advertised league cup game.

Any team news yet, boss?

It'll be a very young X1 to face Chelmsford, hoping they'll stand up to the task. Last time we played a Conference reserve outfit was at Ebbsfleet and they turned us over 1-7. Anyway that was about 7 weeks ago so the boys should have had a growth spurt since then.

Lost 5-2 to a very strong Chelmsford side, although we did score two decent goals through Aaron Cato and Cem Aytac

On a coaching/managing front I was pleased with the standard of our U18s, who battled hard, played very decent football in the first half before key injuries and pre arranged substitutions somewhat made it easier for a strong Chelmsford side.

 

The boy's will enjoy there big day next Wednesday playing in the club's first ever reserve team quatre final at home to Chertsey Town Res.

It was a good game. .. highlights should be on the cold end soon... I only recognised Aaron Cato, Dean Pennant and Daniel Ailey with first team experience??? is that correct??
