I remember the 3 years at Wivenhoe travelling to watch Hornchurch and that was a 2 hour trip each way, but was still manageable. I guess with training and stricter times to be at the ground that it was too much for him.

To be honest,it sounds like he is a valuable member of the club,he will do more travelling in Connie south.Looks like Maidenhead have come in for him and he has used travelling as an excuse to get away.If he had wanted to stay he could of maybe trained with a local side and just travelled to games,many of which are not that far at all
