is the white number in the green box within someones profile bit alongside their posts?

 

Mine has recently changed from 3 to 4 but I have no idea what it means....

Thats your rating from other users I think, on posts you can like a post. It could be the amount of posts someone has "liked"?

As above - whenever one of your posts are 'liked' then that number increases.

 

People might like a post for any reason

 

Incidentally you can also 'unlike' a post if you wish.

Its also a better way of agreeing with a post, better than posting "I agree", which adds nothing to a topic, IMO.

It should say "You Like This", I have just liked your previous post. Your number should increase...

Ian's post now says liked by three people.

My posts recently have gone UNLIKED,cant for the life of me think why.Maybe if I post nice things,my rating will increase.I LOVE GUERNSEY now there's a start.

Incidentally you can also 'unlike' a post if you wish.

 

It would be nice to see who liked the post because at the moment its anonymous. I've seen other forums where it says who has liked the post underneath it. Is this something that can be done with this forum ?
