Hi everyone,

 

First of all, just wanted to confirm that unfortunately I am leaving the Rebels this week. Tough decision to leave my local club and I wish i could have built on a decent pre-season to show more of what i can do but I guess things didn't quite work out. At 24, I think I need to be playing more football, and with half the season gone now I think it's the right time for me to move on.

 

Also wanted to say thanks to the chairman, the backroom staff and all the fans as I've had a lot of support while I've been here (especially Lionel Chandler for sponsoring my kit!) which probably helped me stay patient for this long!

 

I wish the boys all the best this season and like I said I do hope to come back one day with Slough hopefully in a higher league with their own ground!

Sorry to see you leave Charlie, you were a breath of fresh air and deserved more of a chance than you got. I don't think it's any

co-incidence that Sean Sonner has upped his goal scoring ratio since you arrived this season.I think it's a pity that you wasn't used a lot more and that's not being detrimental to D.Burnell,S.Sonner or B.Abbey. You don't always have to play just two forwards.

 

The one thing the Slough side do lack is pace and that's one asset you don't lack,Charlie.

I certainly don't think Steve Bateman really knew how to get the best from you on this score.

Hopefully your new manager will !

And this supporter will certainly miss your energy and sheer effort when coming off the subs bench.That's something that's not going to be easy to replace.
