http://www.sloughtownfc.net/videos

First goal not captured on the footage, but over four minutes of video from the game capturing the best moments of the game. Thanks again to Nathan for manning the camera.

Not sure if video footage will be available from Tuesday nights game at Northwood, will advise in due course.

Hmmm, 50/50 in my opinion, I could of understood if the ref had given a pen but can also understand why he didn't! Ball was there to be won, Alex had to get his head over the player to win the ball and leaned on him a bit but what probably didn't help the striker was his swan lake impression!

After the decision we had awarded against us Tuesday at Brook House, we deserved that bit of good fortune!

I agree.....the number 10 throwing himself to the floor probably didn't do him any favours. His attempt later on was even more blatant and rightly earned him a talking to from the referee.

Interesting how different views can be, even when seeing the same thing over and over again.

I see Alex keeping his eye on the ball with the St. Neots player in front of him suddenly stopping. With Alex towering over him, his momentum was alsways going to cause a downwards collision once the stricker put on his brakes.

Others will see it in a completely different way.

The joys of watching football and having different opinions.

Having had 48 hrs to reflect on what I witnessed Saturday, I don't think we turned up as a team on the day, well certainly not in the 1st 45mins. We failed to come to terms with the Physicallity and the organisation of Slough and paid for not being competitive enough, in the 1st half. Later on in the 2nd half, we took a central defender off in place of a Midfielder, which naturally gave us more of the ball. This also opened the game up and chances went begging for both teams.

Good luck for the rest of the season and see you all in March. The best thing about the day was witnessing a bit of atmosphere, some singing and banter, hopefully you'll bring a few up to St Neots and witness another decent game. From the teams we have played so far, I'd say Bedworth and yourselves have been the best. We played Biggleswade in the cup last year, beating them without looking threatened, so I reckon come the end of the season my guess is Slough St Neots and Bedworth will be fighting for promotion. Bedworth got beaten comfortably on Saturday and speaking to one of their officials when we played them, he suggested their best 11 was really strong, but the squad lacked strength in depth! Maybe they have some injuries and suspensions?Uxbridge are on a good run and i'd expect them to be a decent side as well!

I think the ref didn't give the penalty because alex brown is so tall and would have won the header 99% of the time anyway.

Also like to add that I thought St Neots were a good team and would expect to see them in the play offs, don't think they will be automatic promotion place but should aim for a home advantage play off place (2nd or 3rd). as we have shown in the past two seasons that you can get to the play offs without beating the team above you so don't be too worried if you do the same.

also from other posts and having looked on your forum if you are complaining about the state of the pitch then you may be surprised during the winter games when the pitches are complete sh*t and bumpy due to clubs not having enough money to employ someone to look after them (completely understandable).

our pitch wasn't that bad on saturday.

Played on one or two of them myself. Woodfords is alway especially bad! Although we have played their already! AFC Hayes is another that gets very heavy. You'll enjoy ours, its fantastic. We have pop up sprinklers when its dry and 3G strips for the linesman to run up and down on. Its a real treat to play on and a credit to the guy that looks after it!

I won't know if I'll be at the game until tomorrow morning at the earliest (probably later), so we'll just have to wait and see.
