“Bees Buzz-up to Third” Na down to third after being beaten by Sawbo. The headline referred to our old “friends” Barnet, but who cares too good an opportunity to miss. And it is at this time of year that Bees go to sleep and/or die off for the winter! But enough of this teasing!

Hi cleggy, I think you'll find that Basildon had about 5 first team players out yesterday, not wanting to take anything away from Sawbo, cos only Bowers have came away with a win there this season, but it must make a difference when 5 are out!!

Its a marathon not a sprint and in a marathon you need reserves (of energy). If the bees have not got the reserves they will struggle as the season continues.

How many forwards have the town got now that Cove is scoring as well? We know that Bradley was back yesterday and it showed. Ullatowski still out.

Yep the town have got a lot of good reserves. Oh and I forgot about Keke and Ian.

So far 26 players used in matches. That is strength in depth and that is where champions are made.

On Saturday we had 12 players unavailable, hopefully we should have a few back for our visit to Sawbo.

 

Cheers for the info bacardi, hopefully we will get something off them. Im pleased im suspended for that one, its terrible over there. The dressing rooms everything! I know a couple of their players and they hate HOME games!

Yes they are average team but did the job Saturday!

 

It seemed when Sawbo scored they're second heads went down and seemed the Basildon boys just didnt seem to wanna make a fight of it, something i dont expect from them!
