Croydon v Egham ( no melts)

Recommended Posts

No melts thanks for the kind of match report! Couldn't get down to the arena today gutted sounds like a good game, I would also like to hear from some of the Egham fans to see what their take on the game was.

Glad to read that the boys at Croydon battled to the end and I hear on the vine that they have signed a new striker in Jason Pinnock ? If so an excellent addition to the squad as he is a top striker what with Jason Thompson , Dan Nawanze the strength at Croydon looks good.

See Lino scored today was it a good one as I've only seen him play a couple of times this season and looks like he could be another good addition to the squad he's got the step overs! Just a little unfit? Lastly although not there today unlucky boys keep going Tickets Please!

You missed a good game mate very impressed with some of the football played by Croydon and i think a draw would of been a fair reflection of the game overall Egham first half Croydon second half. If you look at the stats both teams have conceded the same amount of goals but Egham have scored 50 to Croydons 24 ! Good luck to the trams for the rest of the season as if you play like that im sure the only way is up for you See you at Egham in Feb hopefully. Up the Egham :D

Our (well, my) version of the truth is on our site. I agree with Egg & Ham that a draw would have been fair because Croydon played better than us in the 44 minutes of second half regulation time after Luke Muldowney scored our third (although it would have been different had Tom Hedges' shot not hit the bar - it would have been 4-1 if it had gone in.)

Good sign for Egham picking up wins when you consider a draw a fair result. Maybe Egham's year ?

CC did say !........beat you to it CC .....lol !!!

I went for Egham pre-season before I had seen anyone play. I stand by that as I feel they are the best side we have played (on the day). Guildford are good, as are Hanworth and, hedging my bets a tad, the champions will come from these three IMHO.

I haven't overlooked Horley's 6-1 or Cambo's comeback win, both at Wibbandune, and we should have done better at Windsor who are decent. Fascinating league this season, top and bottom!
