Eversley 1-2 wars massive 3 points today game was won i'n first half too be fair Martin missed a pen for wars but bugden broke the deadlock with good work from Gladwin down the right cross to bugden who showed quick feet and slotted the ball bottom corner 1-0 wars the second came from a dias throw Richard White swivelled i'n the 18 yard box and hooked it top corner 2-0 wars dilley had nothing to do first half i'n wars goal although eversley was piling on the pressure.ht second half eversley was coming at wars but with no real end product up the other end Martin had a goal bound shot stopped by the eversley left back apparently using his hand he was shown a straight red and dias missed the resulting penalty good save from the eversley keeper.wars left back John Gladwin was shown a red card or a tackle which he swung at the ball missed and tool the player a yellow card yes but never a red didn't help eversley bench screamed it was a leg breaker then the ref evened it up when one of their players left his foot i'n on higgins he did catch him but wasn't a red which both benches agreed neither were reds.eversley got a goal late on with a very soft penalty which was converted well a good game which was slightly spoiled with the two reds that wasn't deserved.another win let's hope the boys keep it up choooo choo

Westfield 1-2 Worcester Park

 

Cant fault the effort of our lads this afternoon but lacked quality in vital areas. We will probably play worse this season and come away with something. First half we missed a number of chances and WP took theirs.

Second period we huffed and puffed but WP organised at the back defended well and wrapped it up 10 min from time. We snatched a goal in injury time but too late

Cannot believe I got sent off for swinging my foot to clear the ball missing it and unfortunately catching the oncoming player, yellow yes red never , when I asked the linesman what it was all about all he could do was look at me and for some reason started dribbling. Ref was card happy sent eversley player off for similar offence absolute joke it was definatley all about the ref today, spoilt a very good game of football. Other than that a good performance from wars . Chooooo chooooooo

Croydon 2-3 egham

 

Croydon took the lead in 1st 10 mins as egham turned up thinking they had already won the game and weren't ready for how good a side Croydon were. Egham soon picked up there game and attacked Croydon who for once looked conplacenced at the back and scored with a well taken free kick by there no 9 who had a great first half. Egham took the lead just before half time with a looping shoot which the keeper (Francis) should of dealt with, to be fair he has been Croydon best player all season.

As the second half start egham work a good move which ended in there 3rd goal. You would think this would of finished Croydon but under fowler and the management team they just don't lie down. Croydon made 2 sub with Lino and George being brought on and took the game to egham. Croydon had a lot of the ball with wave after wave of Croydon attack which final paid of as Lino ripped apart egham right hand side to bury the ball in the top corner. Croydon second half dominance and position was unable to find a 3rd to level the game. In all fairness a draw would of been a fair result but egham done enough in the first half to hang on to all 3 points, had Croydon played at there best for longer in the game it would of been a different out come

Got to say Croydon were the best ive seen them for the 3 seasons they have been in this division! Got to say no melts Egham defo did not underestermate Croydon. As a club we don,t ever think we are big time . Do We?

Ash Utd 1 Banstead Ath 1

 

well plenty of entertainment but also some poor officials (not all of them tho).........ref just didnt take control & by the end of it the players were making the calls if it was a foul or a booking. The game itself was a game that could & should have been more than just the 2 goals.....bad misses by both teams. Ash took an early lead & should have increased the lead but failed to & just lead by that goal at halftime. The second half was only mins old when Banstead levelled. Then it got interesting with both sides having goals disallowed framework being hit several times but in the end had to share the points, but finally we've got on the 15pt been stuck on there for too long

Lammas 3-0 Cobham

 

After the 4-0 thumping from Cobham a few weeks ago in the back of our heads! Lammas were out for revenge. In probably our best performance yet Lammas started lively and went 1-0 up with a screamer from Baxter, whose going along quietly grabbing his 16th for the season. With lammas strong at the back and Brunty sitting just infront, Cobham struggled to create. Lammas then grabbed a 2nd after Jamie O' Connors ball found the in from Gary James who took all 2 defenders to slot bottom hand corner and grab his 20th of the season. Second half Cobham had made all 3 changes and lost a player 2 mins in after a collision with our keeper. Lammas were still creating and Shane Rideout against his old club was twisting up the defence and he found George Baldock who superbly dispatched it. Great result and going on a nice run now.
