Time to stand up against the Essex Fa

I personally believe we should refuse to play the game Monday and take the consequences.

We have been stitched up good and proper by the Essex FA and personally I don't like bullies. My own view is that if we don't stand up to them then we will have this done to us again.

Of course I will support the club if they do play the game but I believe we must stand up for ourselves.Yes we may lose vital revenue through games but we will not be Whores for the Essex FA.

I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THE OFFICIAL WHO DEEMED THAT THIS IS FAIR BE NAMED AND SHAMED AND HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS ACTIONS

What I Saw of some of your supporters they would have trouble standing up against a lamp post.

On a more serious note, football is rotten to the core from FIFA down to the EFA and the only loser would be AFCH in any confrontation with the Essex FA.

Rob - I agree with you - the rules are that unless BOTH teams agree, then a match has to be played on the home club's normal midweek day, which in this instance is a Tuesday.

If however the match got called off because the home side had a good reason not to play on their normal home midweek day, then the only alternative would be to play it the following Tuesday, which in turn would mean that the Carshalton match would have to be called off.

There is a very easy way to protest - simply ask the Essex FA officials, who will almost certainly be there on Monday, to explain their decision - you could also ask them (politely) to resign.

Looking at the Essex FA website there are members of their "Governance" team responsible for cups and competitions, presumably one of them is the one we want to make a wax effigy of and stick pins into it.

Bugger, let's make two effigies and take them to [censored] Lane on Monday.

If you beat Thurrock you have Colchester United away. Hopefully won't be fog that night!!!

Another away game....... im so surprised!!!!!

NOT!!! :2fingers:

Personally I don't think exposing this spineless individual on here would do the Club any favours. I would only add that the excuse for moving the game back to Monday was pathetic.

Perhaps we should concentrate on the F.A. Trophy and promotion.

Agree!

Been looking thro' scum's fixtures for the past three years and the only time they play at home on a Monday is if it's a bank holiday.

Other than a friendly at home to Dag & Red on Monday 1st Aug 2011 and that's 'cos they had another friendly on Thursday 4th.

The more you look at it the foul odour of [censored] Lane permeates the corridors of the Essex FA and we know what the FA stands for

Sorry for my bad (censored) language earlier but my emotions got the better of me and besides this thread has caused my asterisk key to become rather worn.
